You obviously haven't looked hard enough if you haven't found any good reviews in the marketplace for offshore hosting.
The problem with the reviews for offshore hosts are the customers themselves. Many simply assume that just because the host advertises itself as "Offshore", the customer is free to do whatever they want. This is not true, and all those who leave negative reviews should understand a couple of things:
1) Offshore hosts do get attacked daily due to the nature of customer sites they host - servers do go down now and then, and every such occurence let's the host to improve their network to avoid this in the future.
2) They have to deal with countless complaint cases every day - even if the host does not take action against the site the complaint's about, in most cases, a response is still needed to those complaints;
3) As I mentioned, customers sometimes think they can do whatever they please on offshore hosting.
Wrong! Spam, DDoS and hacking is not allowed on most offshore hosts, and posting a negative review just because the account was suspended due to such things is just showing that people don't know/don't care what they sign up for.
We're an offshore host who cares about our customers, and while we do get negative reviews too (for the reasons explained), we have lots more satisfied customers to counter that. The problem is that satisfied customers usually keep it to themselves, while unsatisfied people yell about their issue everywhere without even thinking that they might be the ones in the wrong.
Simple advice -
do NOT rely on reviews alone when choosing an offshore host - they can be wrong. It's better to sign up for a trial (which would cost you less than a coffee at Starbucks) and see for yourself.
