My Twitter account was suspended on July 9th 2016 and it is really causing me to feel depressed. The account was hacked just prior to the fact, and I feel like I am being severely penalized for the actions of a RANDOM STRANGER compromising my account. For more than a week, my account got hacked one morning, and I couldn't access it. It was used to send spam links as well as attempt to scam people out of money. I tried to file a case number for that, and by the time Twitter returned the account to me, the hackers done already did a lot of damage, such as caused me to lose a few hundred followers and deleted more than half my old tweets.
Of course, I changed my info by then, and used a different, much stronger, password. But however, this is the major happening that caused me to get suspended: On July 9th evening - just a couple of days after having had my account compromised and taken over - it was compromised AGAIN, by someone who posted very racist, violent tweets on my account, also containing disparaging, sexual content. It was just seriously vulgar and looked like trolling. By the time I discovered it, I managed to delete two or three of the tweets from my account (there were a lot more I weren't able to get to in time - see below), and sent a support ticket informing them what happened. My account was suspended on July 9th - about two hours after it was compromised - and my ticket wasn't responded to until the morning of July 20th 2016, when an email from Twitter was sent to me saying "you were suspended for posting violent threats and the account will not be restored" I even said in my first ticket within the first MINUTE of the suspension that the account was compromised. I have also sent 2 or 3 other case numbers recently, and none of them have been responded to. I swear on my life that I did not write those things. I am starting to think that Twitter does not know that hackers compromise accounts and do anything to mess them up whether it's minor or major.
I saw a bunch of tweets (and retweets) that I swear I didn't post that said things of a threatening nature. One tweet said in capital letters "REPORT THIS ACCOUNT"
The second time I was compromised, I discovered a third-party app that I did not connect to my account (or at least don't remember connecting to my account anytime recently) that was also used to try to send out automated DMs to followers saying something very inappropriate.
I need help getting back my account because I had it since March 2015 and it has almost 15k followers and therefore it's very special to me and causing me to feel depressed on the inside without it. It's very urgent. How can I prove to Twitter that I did not post those things and that my account was compromised? Because the stuff that was said does not even look like anything a normal person would even say.
