Passive Income through Youtube

on the 7th day since starting this, uploaded about 7 vids per day. currently averaging about 350 views per day. hoping that its just a matter of consitincey and getting more videos out there in order to succeed with this. annoyingly, the 1 video that gets 50% of my views got flagged and the earnings are going to another company.

will stop posting so much in your thread now OP. if ppl are interested i could create my own journey thread for this..

July Review:
- Well I'm calling $999.80 four figures.
- Pretty much called viewing figures correct of 750k
- Subscribers at end of July finished at around 3250

August Targets:
- Firstly Politics is off for the month so I have to restructure my content a little, also I expect view to be down.
- View Target: 500k
- Revenue: $600ish
Subscribers: 4500

September Targets:
- Political Shows starting to come back and get into full speed again.
- View Target: 750k
- Revenue: $1000+
Subscribers: 6500 - 7500

August Targets:
- View Target: 1.25m
- Revenue: $1500
Subscribers: 10k
 
I should probably note that I'm going to set up a website to go with my YouTube channel. If I get 500,000 views than that's plenty of free targeted advertisement from my videos. I'm going to do it through adsense and their WordAds program for monetizing your blogs. I'll probably do a Hybrid News Aggregation Type site where I'll write some articles my self.

Also will do Reddit, Twitter and facebook pages to go with my channel. Will also open a Patreon page and see how that goes.
 
Keep it up and stay clean .
I started not more than 1 year ago and I make 100-300$ avg / month

Yeah, that's the best part of it. Keep on growing mate. you'll be the next 9gag and other successful sites out there.
 
for me most difficult part is to monetize this news videos. on last videos i avoided titles like killed attacked, toxic gas and others similar but no help!

That's why I keep away from violent News and just normal party political views.

I think its better to keep in mind first of growing the number of videos, subscribers and user interaction. I don't think making a "Viral" video for now. I started a new channel weeks ago, small view counts, subscribers are increasing (which is good news), consistent uploads is the key here.

This is my month, considering I started properly around July 20th, I just had an inactive 5,000 subscriber account. Reason for low revenue is because a lot of the videos were too short and also had copyright on them. Plans for next month is to increase revenue 10x and open a dropshipping site for maybe another 400-500 a month

wow those earnings aren't very much at all for the amount of views

Video length, a lot of my views were on videos with less than 20 seconds, YouTube hardly ever puts ads on these videos so you make almost nothing. I've started doing 10-15minutes videos and already made $42 just on 3rd of August with 60k views, a vast improvement already

Nice journey, I used to make money on youtube 2 years ago. Maybe I can get on it again.
