So i've been diversifying, buying hq links, maintaining proper anchor text ratios and doing everything correctly. however, i suddenly realized that since my site is on page 2/3 my traffic is still very low.. ie the number of links i'm building is a lot more than the number of visitors actually visiting my website  .. surely google will find that fishy. Is buying traffic while link building necessary? i've never seen it mentioned in any of the seo guides i've read the past few months but surely it's necessary? how can someone have 5 visitors and 20 links? and if i do need this traffic to make it look natural where can i buy it? seriously worried about my duh moment :( .. my site metrics are now crazy good(TF /CF ratio + PA/DA etc) but i'm worried about the lack of actual visitors clueing google in. obviously i'll get traffic when i reach page 1 but i've got none now while link building

Sorry if it's a noob question. will disabling analytics help?

There is an easy way to get a real traffic, why not using social networking for your traffic? I have got about 1 million visitor from only facebook groups

Do I need the traffic to make the link building look natural though? Or is disabling anlaytics enough?

Cheers. As long as it's safe without I don't mind. Disabled analytics just incase

CTR is a ranking factor according to MOZ and since I don't believe everything I read I have been a part of some case studies
that show it matters, especially for inner pages/keywords. Even bounce rates have been known to be a ranking signal. You want
your website to appear as popular as possible!

Why do people pay attention to that 1 blog post by rand from 2014, but dismiss everything else he says as crap?

Is it because you're friends with a person who has a SERP clicking service?

When you see a keyword move within the top 5 (And other positions.) without adding anything but clicks over and over then yes that really
does help conclude it does work, especially with long tails and your inner pages. I think you would have to be a loser
to expect CTR alone to rank a very difficult keyword, but in combination with other SEO it surely doesn't hurt.

For example, I would not expect it to move "black hat seo" from the depths all by itself. It could give you an extra push though once you add in
more SEO tactics. CTR manipulation isn't your main ranking factor, links are, but it sure as hell works as much or even more so than fake social
signals people offer in the marketplace here.

Ok, well hypothetically if the creator of this service picked a keyword out himself and targeted that keyword and nothing happened, would you still believe in it?

I wouldn't, and don't.

Dealing in hypotheticals is lame. Either a situation happened or it did not. That being said it's your business model and you have
to be smart enough to understand if a tool or service is going to work for you. I don't expect it to work for every situation, but when
you have Internet Marketers buying into it and swearing by it month after month, happily chanting it's working, then it is for them.

W'ere not talking about noobs either. These are Agency owners who have to perform.

You know an airplane is great for flight, but we sure as hell don't buy one for sailing, and some people swear by Marijuana while others
think it makes them feel lethargic. Just because you can't find purpose in a tool or reap some benefits from it doesn't mean as a whole
other capable business owners can't.

Definitely use social media giants like Facebook or Twitter for excellent traffic. Google+ is also an untapped traffic source.

They know what happened, I don't know what they chose to tell you and what he chose not to tell you...

@Ste Fishkin

Okay back to the original topic at hand. Are you trying your best to insinuate that my advice is not in good character? You, of all people. I have
many successful friends that offer great services, some even compete against me and that's okay. I'm not going to advise a member here to
make a purchase unless I deem it can in some way help them, and in the OPs case I didn't even prompt him too.

Stephen, are you the type of person who blames other people every time something just doesn't work for you as an individual? I see it happen
all the time where people let their insecurities mount up and turn into disorders. It's a shame because a lot of people have potential to make
something out of themselves, but they end up being their own enemy and creating complexities where they shouldn't even exist.
