Do admins get paid?

I know this isn't exactly a Suggestion, but I have been wondering about this a lot recently. I know most of the admins benefit incredibly from the forum in more ways than one. For example I know a lot of them have been around for a long time, and before becoming admin they already had a great income, but does BHW pay them a wage for their service?

I am sort of on the fence when deciding if they should be paid or not, because they do get the benefit from testing out selling threads etc. but they also spend a lot of time and effort making sure the forum is running smoothly. I think if they are to be paid, they should receive a wage depending on how much time and effort they give to the forum. For example, @BassTrackerBoats is a fantastic admin, always there to help and sort out any issues, but yesterday Is saw a post by an admin I had never once heard of/ seen post.

So what do you think? Should admins be paid if they aren't already? Quite interested to know what you guys think.

Admins are Staff, I think, so they would be paid.
A few Mods are Staff but most are Volunteers.
They do an awesome Job.
The Volunteer Mods do it for a number of reasons I imagine, loving the forum and trying to make it better is a large part of that.
As for pay that is down to @Diamond Damien but would you like BHW to become a Paid forum to cover Mod Salaries? I certainly wouldn't mind that but not sure how the rest of the forum would feel.

I want to be a mod i love this forum i suppose it very hard to get in there shame i love being here.....

Just side note , a admin might get paid but for all the information gained and freebies you can earn a lot what you learn .

Mods are similar to Facebook group admins, do it for the sheer hell of it and enjoy sharing / educating I'd imagine, with some perks thrown in from time to time.

I certainly wouldn't mind paying for like a super VIP or something like that! But seriously, when are you gonna become an admin? That site you made a post about has made me some very good money, you deserve to be recognised more for your work!

You should apply man I may apply as well just to see how hard the process is, but it's certainly something to work towards.

Interesting comparison! I hadn't payed much attention to who is mod/ admin in the past, but maybe I will start now.

At least some of them should get paid trips to various exotic business and luxury locations around the globe every month or two, even three, to check if BHW is loading there quickly as it should load everywhere else. Of course they will wear the BHW black hats and company-given expensive dresses of their choice with BHW logo printed across the back, and with unlimited spending money to party with the glamor and business top wigs, other stars and starlets, BH and WH mayors and politicians, police chiefs, and local good (read: filthy rich) guys, which will attract those local top shots to BHW with their company advertisements. An exclusive top-of-the-line limo, a pvt jet, and a local guide, and a 7-Star L&B (of their choice) goes along without saying!

I think there are a few mods who know each other offline and work together and get compensated.
maybe not always on the same exact location, but nevertheless they work together.
Next to that, there will be other mods that are willing to volunteer for other types of benefits.
