Looking for a programmer/coder for a small task

Sometime ago, I hired someone here on BHW to make me a small software that would just send hits to links I enter in it. The software worked great for years. Just until recently, I don't know what happened, but the exe file won't run and software won't start. I double click on it and nothing happens. Just started happening all of a sudden and I didn't change/edit any files or anything. Can some programmer/coder take a look at it and fix it?

I don't remember who the original developer was otherwise I would definitely approach him.

If he only provided the .exe file means you need to decompress it. If your previous dev added some security to the compression then it will be diffucult to fix this because you cant change codes in a compressed file.
If you have the original code (not compressed into exe) then it would be no problem.

I have no idea about the technology or language used. And no, it's not just an exe. The exe file was the file I used to run the software. It has some other files with extension .dll and a xulrunner folder with more .dll files.

Yeah, but the main code is within the exe file. The dll files are extensions
