Got quite a few questions about this journey from people so thought I should do a little update.

1) The site is still going strong. Apparently, a lot of hack sites were hit during the last couple of weeks. From what I hear from people is it was the doing of a guy and not a google update. Luckily,my site isn't hit. Made a little over $1k last month

2)Youtube video was ranking 1st for many keywords.But competitors couldn't digest the fact that I'm outranking their shitty videos. The video was flagged and taken down by Youtube. Also,received an infraction on my channel.

3) A guy offered $4.5k to buy the website. I was tempted to sell it considering the fact that it may not last long as many hack sites have been taking a hit. But did not go ahead since I guess $4.5k is pretty low considering the fact that the site is doing $1k/m now.

I am now working on 6 Amazon sites now. Will start a thread in a few days.

Bought the PBNs from Berkay since I couldn't afford to build my own.
Scraped the web 2.0s myself using Fiverr.
Social shares,Tier 1,Tier 2 were bought from random BSTs and Fiverr.

MAJOR RANKING DROP

Site was hit today.

Its not de-indexed but the rankings dropped.

So if I'm not wrong this looks like an algorithmic penalty opposed to a manual one. Not sure though.

I powered my Tier 1(Web 2.0 and social shares)with a GSA blast and added 2 more PBN links because the rankings were starting to fluctuate.

Maybe that is the case.

Since, I did not add this site to WMT I do not know the exact reason.

I am thinking about contacting the guy I bought the links from and remove them and submit the newly built Tier 2 links to disavow tool.

Is this the right course of action? Should I add the site to WMT now to figure out what exactly is the issue.?

I'd appreciate any kind of insight of this.

So I had apparently added the site to WMT. I just forgot about it.

Recieved a mail in the inbox today stating that is a manual penalty for thin content.

Damn.

Bought 2 Domains and set up a double 301 redirect.

Redirect looks like this - Penalized Site > New site with the same domain name but different TLD > New money site

New site is not yet indexed.

Lets see where this goes

I will try to recover them , I have in same situation with an old "hack" niche some month's ago and I have managed to recover it.

Invested around $600. Made $3k
