Just passed the 3000 Subscriber mark yesterday.
Unfortunately UK politics is on holiday for a month now (like the schools) which also means most political channels are. There still be some stuff but not as much.

Next month i'll start does some SEO; twitter, facebook and start a website (maybe).

Hmm... I don't think they had to do this for me although it may just be my memory. I believe its just linking your adsense account to YouTube. On the YouTube website, I don't seem to remember any waiting period.

i refrained from uploading any video incase they saw while reviewing, but they actually approved my adsense in a few hours with no videos on my channel

Cheers that was a thought, there is also the issue of only like 1/10 of views being monetisable, is this because YouTube does not display ads on such short videos?

Earnings dropped at the end as I haven't really been uploading to many new video's. Getting back in the routine of uploading today.

Football is always difficult to do and basically impossible.

The only copyright that is sometimes picked up is by the BBC, maybe 5% - 10% of video's. I don't think they care though, when I appealed about 1 month ago under fair use (just wanted to see what the response was) they sent me a message to my YouTube channel that I didn't see till recently. They just said that the video wasn't fair use, gave fair use guidelines and stated the videos of them that I uploaded did not come under fair so would continue to monetize them. They also leave the 90%+ of video's on the BBC alone.

I'm in the U.S., so BBC may be operating under different guidelines in the U.K. -- I don't see what else may be going on.

The last update before the end of month break down that i'll do. Lack of political news and not uploading for 2 days hurt my channel as you can see at the end. However, with video's being uploaded again I can see engagement with the channel go back up.

I don't see that being the issue are you simply copying the video or are you chopping and cutting to make it as unique as possible?
