[Amazon] Getting Serious About IM

Read all your posts on this thread, U R doing good job dude.
Hope you can reach your $500 goal soon.

Appreciate the support guys!

Today I heard back from Healzer who asked if I was interested in making a tutorial video for his new project a couple of weeks go. I liked what he told me about it and agreed to make one. Funny thing is, I hadn't made a video like this before. I knew I could do it though and saw it as an opportunity. Miss all the shots you don't take and all that jazz, right?

It turned out to be a lot of work, but I made a nice commission and found out that I really enjoy it! I plan on turning this into a business of it's own VERY soon so keep your eyes out for it!

Of course this post wouldn't be much without the video itself, so check it out:

Quick update:

Site 2 made a sale out of the blue on a smaller item for a $3 commission.

I haven't done much SEO work the past week - I've been pretty busy getting my BST up and running which is looking great so far! I probably won't talk about it much here.

For site 1 I will be linking from my PBN within a week or so to give it a boost, along with creating more web 2.0s. I also have been pointing my aged web 2.0s at it.

keep going man dont get distracted
I think you are on the right track!

I've been wanting to update this for a while, but it took longer than expected to get a sale. Here's what I've been up to:

Lost my twitter account that was just under 2k followers for site 1 - lost access to the junk email I used for it. Not a big deal, already started a new one to replace it.

I added my second PBN link to site 1 in addition to linking from more pre-existing web 2.0s and building new ones. I learned a huge lesson with my email outreach campaign and that would be: Most people don't respond, so don't put much time into it when you could be building web 2.0s and other links instead.

Rankings are starting to dance and slowly move upwards. A decent amount of KWs are on the bottom of page 2, so I just need to keep building links.

BST has been going smoothly and very easy to maintain in comparison since it isn't SEO based. Thinking about outsourcing SEO (basic things, not buying PBN posts) for site 2 as an experiment. Creating web 2.0s and doing everything for both of them would be a little too much!

Have a good day!

5 clicks = 5 sales = 100% conversions, right? Not exactly...

Those clicks are from three different sites, and all of the sales are from a single click on a site I haven't been working on! I found that pretty interesting.

Site 1 is still dancing a bit as I mentioned in the last post. I need to power up my web 2.0s with additional links, but I haven't decided if I just want to GSA blast them or do something else.

BST is progressing well. Spent most of the afternoon working on a promo video.

Have a good weekend!

Got a small sale on my site today.

Things are starting to get exciting with the SERPs - like I mentioned above, it is continuing to dance and rank higher than previously.

My plan for tomorrow is to throw some social signals at my existing web 2.0s, and write an article to spin and drip feed across article sharing sites through the week.

I also completed an order for my BST today.

Let's go!

I am an absolute MASTER of conversions!

...not really. I got all of those orders off of 1 click from my third site which aside from putting up ~15 articles I have done nothing to. I really need to rebrand the domain name too, it has an EMD that is way too long right now.

I've now posted my article and manually spun it to three different doc sharing sites, will do that at least two more times.

Created a great video for another BHW user's upcoming BST, it will be cool to see that go live.

Somewhat related to the journey, I'm in the pre-interview phase of two RL jobs which is awesome. I could afford to invest MUCH more in my projects if I land one of them.

Have a KICKASS day!

Best of luck with your journey!

Thank you, I'll take all the luck I can get!

Made some sales AGAIN with my third site. I know it's just chance, but it still gets me how non-linear the earnings are. Meanwhile I continue working on my first site and it hasn't converted in a short while despite getting more traffic.

If you're doing Amazon there's a ton of value just getting people to click your links and letting them do the work. Two days in a row and these sales have been almost 90% unrelated to my niches.

I manually spun my article for site 1 and put it on another doc sharing site. I think I've done enough of that now and will begin making one web 2.0 a day for site 2 until I hit 10 of them or so.

Have a good weekend!

OP, how did you come upon those niches for the 3 sites? and what tool/site did you use for KW research and comp

Site 1's was basically a passion project, when I looked at the competition / KWs I knew it had potential.

Site 2's was found going through Amazon's categories.

Site 3's KW was purchased.

KeywordRevealer.com is one of my favorite tools for quickly judging the top 10 results, but I mainly used Google's Keyword Planner to check the volume of each KW first. Every now and then I use Traffic Travis as well in place of Keyword Revealer for competition.

how specific are your niches/ KWs? I try to look for Keywords such as best xxxxx or top xxxx and the comp is all high.
What search volume/comp do your keywords/niches have? Are they low med or high? monthly searches for keyword?

My niches are very specific. I always target KWs like "best xx", but never base the site around those articles. Obviously they have a ton of money making potential and you're going to run into competition for damn near everything with that phrase. It's a matter of finding the competition you can beat.

I try to base my big articles off of KWs with at least 1000 monthly searches, but I'll go for everything that has reasonably low to medium competition. I don't have the experience or budget with SEO for anything else right now.

Inspiring thread OP ...great informative posts....what are you using for rank tracking?

Are all your Web 2.0 manually written or do you outsource? Are you just working tier one linking at this stage or are you planning on a second tier?

Thanks man! I use SerpBook.

I manually write my web 2.0s right now. I've been wanting to outsource them, but I'm really cheap so I haven't yet. Focusing on tier 1 at the moment and seeing a lot of movement from it. Tier 2 linking is something I want to work on at some point though when I can figure out a solid game plan for it.

One of those is a small keyword sitting at #1. I should have at least 3 more KWs in the top 10 by the end of next month if not sooner!
