How Much $$ Do Youtube Ads mAkE??

So I have lots of ideas for some youtube videos that I think will get tons of hits. I always see the videos with millions of views and google ads on them. How much money do those ads typically make? are those people with the millions of views making a fortune from the google ads overlaying the videos?

I haven't been able to get google ads on my videos yet, my channel has completely unique content however I'm not sure what the minimum hit count has to be before youtube will place ads on the videos. Do you have to be become a partner before they will look at you?

Actually if the video is thought to be copy writted then youtube will place ads on the videos and also they may be a youtube partner and they actually make around 3.00 per 1000 views so they dont do it by the amount of clicks but on the amount of views. Hope this helped

Also it dont matter if you have a million views unless your a youtube partner which you need either alot of subscribers that actually view your videos and comment them or a couple videos that went viral.

is it a sure thing that you will get in on the partner network if you do that?

Well I applied to be a partner, however was clearly rejected as I was unsure how it all worked. I've currently got 258 subscribers but think its more based around your views, not subscribers
