There are not many people here who are into domain flipping. There are other forums dedicated to that biz, you may get more help there. Also as far as I remember flippa has an option for domain appraisal, but I am not sure if they replay to every request or not.
A lot of times, the price depends on that how much someone is willing to pay, which may highly differ from the appraisal price.

Wouldn't external links, Alexa ranking and daily visitors affect value of a domain? I have decent numbers on a domain I just grabbed. I may just use it for link juice

Most of the time when you sell a domain, you do it because of it's name, or it's SEO value. This domain has very low SEO value (poor link profile + messy anchors), also the name is not very attractive as well. This one is dud...

Did anyone ask? I would take it for free then just flip it for like $1-2. A new internet marketer would take a free domain to use on Instagram or something. Easy.
