Can someone help me with this. Where do you start with mining URL's for PPV? If you're promoting an iPhone email submit do you

1) Look for URL's relating to the iPhone or

2) do you go wide and target URL's related to your demographic?

If it's 2), which I suspect it is, where do you start?

Start with alexa, type in iphone in the search and it will give you a bunch of information including the top links for that keyword.

You can also try Quantcast, It works pretty much the same with a little bit different statistics.

Hope that helps.

use a url scraper. Find your product and create a highly targeted keyword list then run it through the scraper to scrape first 10 results on google along with all of the paid google ad urls for each keyword.

I would personally find keywords that people in adwords are using to promote the same product. You can use keywordspy to get some great keywords.

Do you take the top 10 results from alexa or are you going deeper?
Has someone a URL scraper for alexa?

@webatomic: It seems nothing but consequent for me. But I've not tested this so far.

What i do is go to the google kw tool and type my main kw. Then I select the top 10 kws with the most traffic.

2. export those into a text file.

3. i use ppv snipe to get the top 2 page results from alexa, yahoo, msn, google, and quancast.

I just google my main keyword and see what the top 10 sites are. Repeat until I have about 100 sites.

there is a PPV Sniper available on here(BST) that does exactly what you are looking for or there is PPV Dominator(Gauher Chadry/JV Clute tool)

This does it and also alows you to track conversions at keyword, source and cpa network level to give you an accurate conversion rate

You can do it manually but it takes sooooo much time.

I don't have the PPV Dominator so don't ask...... but if someone can get it...

oscar...

I had access to PPV Dominator but when I canceled Gaugher's PPC Formula course (companion course to his PPV Formula), I was dropped from the PPV Formula site and lost access to Dominator. SO, you remain a member in "good standing" to access Dominator.

Another thought regarding targetting URLS, check out PPC ads...If they are paying likely dollars per click, then paying a few cents for the same click will probably bring in some good ROI. (target the PPC ads URL)

URLKeywordz might be worth taking a look. It's designed just for PPV campaigns.
