Kindle Journey to $10 a day

Well... it has always felt awkward to me starting a new thread anywhere, but let me try my best.
Hi BHW!. I'm a long time lurker 22 year old woman somewhere from middle-east. Not exactly new to internet marketing since I've been reading EVERYTHING like a maniac for the past 9 months and recently took action in a pinterest project that's doing well in term of traffic. But that's a journey for another day.

I started this journey in an attempt to keep me committed to working on my First kindle book. I hope I'll be puplishing it in the next three days. I'll try my best to keep you updated to what I do everyday. I'm not outsourcing the work since I'm on a tight budget. so let's see how it goes..

Day 1:

-I wrote 1000 words today till now. The ebook(s) will be in the erotic category. Because I think it's evergreen and because I write adult content well.

What do you guys think would be better; writing the story in form of chapters/ebooks. Where each ebook is 2000 something words for $ 2.99.. Or publishing the whole story in one 20,000 words ebook for $4.99 ?

My personal opinion is that it's best to split the 20k words into multiple ebooks. I would publish something like 4 books in a series (5k words each book).

Good luck to you, it's a competitive market the one you're going into but there's enough info on the forum that will help you succeed + you do need to keep at it for some time, don't give up fast.

It's good to see one more Kindle thread, I am quite surprised that so many members on BHW is starting a Kindle publishing business. I wish you all the best, go get them girl.

I was just sharing some of the quality information regarding Kindle on a different thread few minutes ago. If you want, you can check my postings and you can see what I have recommended to one other member starting a journey around Kindle.

Anyway, just want to give you a hand. It is hard to beat the competition on Kindle nowadays, it is not only about writing, it is about marketing also. You can have the most quality content out there, but if no one reads it, it is completely worthless.

Feel free to reach me if you are in need of some help around Kindle, I managed to create around $20,000 in net income from Kindle back in the days. It can be said that I know ins and outs of that business.
