https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-TylwGIkI8 is a location-based augmented reality mobile game developed by Niantic. It was initially released this month i-e in July 2016 for iOS and Android devices, starting with the US and Australasia, with Asian and European releases to follow.

The game allows players to capture, battle, and train virtual Pokémon who appear throughout the real world. It makes use of GPS and the camera of compatible devices.
Players have to walk around in the real world to move their avatar in the game.

Thanks OP! We've all been living under a rock here on BHW! No one here has ever heard of Pokemon Go before!

Good thing we have people like you to connect us to the real world and keep us informed about what's happening!

What is Pokemon Go? Is it popular or something?

Unless they make something like that with skyrim, not interested

When you install Pokemon GO app on your phone, they ask you to allow them to access your camera and location anytime, and also all Google account including files on your phone. And also Pokemon GO was developed from a company which CIA owns. Be careful.

The CIA doesn't own Niantic Inc.

Conspiracy theorists think if you get government contracts the CIA owns the company, so they are spreading the rumors.
