Time for another rant..

I absolutely can not stand this pos! Their support is beyond horrible, you'll be damn lucky to find a working # for them, hell... you'll be lucky to even get an e-mail response from them.

My PayPal, will not let me send money, it won't let me use my debit card.. so basically all my money is just sitting there..
And I pity the poor soul who answers that phone when I get a number that's not a machine...

What's the point of sending me a card if I WONT BE ABLE TO USE IT?!

I wish there was something else besides PayShit

I've had 2 accounts limited in the last couple of weeks so I can understand where you are coming from.

Yeah they really do believe they are god-like and they seem
to answer to nobody.

I had a conversation with my credit card company a while back
and they said they hate to deal with those pricks.

PayPal is a payment service which is essentially unregulated by state or federal US laws.

PayPal makes the rules and PayPal's rules SUCK CUM LAUDE!

Chargebacks may be issued up to 45 days if paid to PayPal via bank withdrawal but up to six months or in some instances up to 7 years if paid by credit card through PayPal.

If you ever want to find out just how well and truly fucked you are if you accept PayPal, read the TOS!

Basically their TOS say they can choose to keep your money for any reason they choose at any time.. They held about $5k of mine for 6 months before I got it back.

Yeah! I agree. The first I heard of them (before eBay bought them), someone was just complaining about their service. I thought they were just whiners.

Lo and behold, around Chirstmas of 2003, I had over $100K in my account (not all was profit) and they put it on hold. The bad thing is that I had dropshipping to do. They held some of my money for 45 days and the rest, they held for 6 months. The other money I had to refund while ebay closed my account for customer service issues.

If you can, stay away from Paypal!!! Get multiple merchant accounts (if necessary) to accept credit cards.

I have used Google Checkout with some success (when they were free). But, since they are new (and given my experience with Google (slap) in the past), I wonder if they will swallow Paypal like they did Yahoo in search engines and eventually act like the God of Payment Services.

Whaddaya think?

the whole world hate Paypal and the whole world is using it too
it should be put in http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f31-shit-list/

The lack of viable options is why people use paypal. Where else can a person set up an account and not have to use their CC all over the place? Google is about it. People have a habit of trusting big names/businesses with their money.

I HATE THEM TOO

i have 2k stucked there and was awaiting payment of 4500 dollars from ebay at the moment of my suspension

thanks to god that i was not making droopship

FUCK THEM FUCK THEM FUCK THEM i am really pissed also

just my .02

I used to be able to send money even without a bank attached.. now I can't send money.. my card won't work, I can't with draw money..

I seriously do pity the person who has to answer their phone.. there's not much in it but that's where every single penny of mine is because of banking issues.

if you know how to fuck them then you won't hate them :)

i've got lots of paypal and ebay accounts, when one gets suspended lots more come into play.

did you try reinstating the account? send in some photoshopped statements? because that usually works. unless you were scamming, then that account is gone for good and you gotta wait the 180 days for your money.

No, I wasn't scamming or doing anything illegal..

I need to find a decent bank around here or even out of town so I can transfer all the money out PayShit

I always hated how my lovely Paypal Debit card could only be used to charge things that cost less than $10, and that using the card twice in one day was considered probable credit card fraud. What a joke.

Wow, I've been with PayPal for 8 years and I've rarely had any issues with them. I used my PayPal debit card to buy a brand new refrigerator from Best Buy for well over $1,000, and I've used my card at least a dozen times in a single day with no issues whatsoever. In fact, I've only had a problem with the card twice in the last year. Once it was declined at a restaurant and I asked them to run it again because I knew there was enough in the account. They ran it again and the charge went through just fine. The second time was at the ATM. I tried to withdraw some money and it said I had an insufficient balance. I did a balance inquiry and saw I had enough. I tried again to withdraw the exact same amount and it immediately went through.

I have had my account frozen three times in 8 years. Once was because someone tried to hack into my account. I just had to verify a few things and change my password, and it was resolved in 5 minutes. Another time I had a recurring transaction fail because it was set to take from a bank account whenever there wasn't enough in my account to cover it. That account had been closed, so my account was restricted until I added another bank account, which I did. The restriction was lifted within 24 hours. The other time was due to a dispute that someone filed against me, but once I showed PayPal proof of delivery, I was immediately reinstated. That one took about 2 days to resolve.

Looks like you've been among the few lucky ones :)
