Having said that, first order yesterday! Organic but has raised my hopes with this method. @Dawka how do you get the new interface? I have an old one! Mine says 1 order but $0.... I've looked at the product and just wondering when the earning for that product will show?

I ask as I know Organic will convert a hell of a lot better in the long run but would be interesting to know what other traffic sources people are using to great affect especially for Niches that have no real Forum or Q&A presence.

I don't think they've rolled out the new "live" reporting for everyone yet. I got offered it 2-3 months ago I think.

That's because you seem to be signed in with the UK affiliate backend which has not been updated for a while. The US version is constantly getting updates as it has a bigger market.
I recommend starting with US as you won't see a whole heap of commission coming from the UK.

Ha, this method is so killer. It's kind of like PPD back in the day but with serious potential for a sellable business.

I've managed to scale it up to 10 sites in different industries with a ton of forums and it's working out pretty well. I've got an intern doing the posts for me, too, so it's little to no effort.

P.S. - Greetings from Bali - a must-visit place with some super scenic beaches, villas with private pools and other cool stuff. PM me if you're going and want some tips on what to do/what to avoid.

Secondly, on such niche forums, there are tons of active and old members who are experts themselves. How do you make yourself look like an expert among them (if you are not an expert on that niche)?

Thirdly, what I've come across is - something I hadn't expected to encounter - that members usually know each other personally and that's what they expect from you too and it becomes kind of hard lying (keeping up your blogger persona). Like, on the forums I'm posting on, my persona is of a 30 year old guy living in Tampa, FL. I don't even live in USA. Other people from Tampa are talking about stuff that people living there should know, asking me to come to meet ups etc. How do I deal with all that?

Actually for me forum traffic also didn't work. I mean.. I had a few visits on the start and maybe even buys from them but more and regular traffic I have from blog comments from my niche. Right now I have about 14 visits per day. About 9 visits from just 2 blogs, 2 visits from Reddit and the rest (3) from forums. So I think it depends on niche. Some converts better on forums, some better on Facebook, Twitter, Blog comments etc. But I'm also curious of @WhitePassion method of posting

My first order was delivered one day later. Second is still not delivered (it's 3rd day). I wrote somewhere that it could takes up to 5 days.

I also started a niche site about 20 days ago with some great results so far. I didn't made any money yet but long tail keywords with about 2500 search results rank on page 3 up to page 7 without doing any backlinks. Just really good optimized and some forum postings, hundreds of shares etc. Hopefully I will be seeing some sales come in during the month. I will try to get some PBN backlinks the end of the month and hopefully get to page 1.

Yeah like @Dawka touched on you won't see any commission until the items have shipped. If you using the UK amazon this will be purely dependant on what shipping company the seller is using for this item.

You will consistently see things like 110 items ordered and 70 items shipped but rest assured they will ship, and the only worse case scenario is if the buyer decides to return the item then the commission will be deducted off your monthly earnings. This is pretty rare as in all my time using amazon I've only had a handful of returned items, but this has two factors and these are how well you a targeting people and how good the items are you are trying to sell.

Not exactly true mate.. If you know how to write good well formatted content that people want to read then you can rank fast. Just be creative. I will tell you one thing. You being so negative is one of the reasons your success is being staggered. A positive mind will take you far along the path of success..

Excuse me for being blunt, but people need to know.

99.99% of the people replying to this thread are going to fail, point blank.

You hear a lot about these people who rank without backlinks or from a few web 2's. You don't hear about the 10's of thousands who try everything and barely hit page 3. That's the norm.

SEO is fucking HARD. I'm just giving people a reality check so they don't get discouraged when reality sets in. You aren't going to stick up a site and hit $1k/mo. You'll stick up a site and in 6 months be making probably $50/mo.

But keep working at it, keep building new sites, keep trying different types of SEO and in 1-2 years you'll be doing fine, in 3-4 you'll be doing really well.
You need to master things in life. You can find stories of people making it with shortcuts and luck, but those are not the norms.

For every zuckerberg there's a million others who tried and failed. If you want to guarantee success don't try to be the zuckerberg or gates, be the edison.

All these people respond saying "This is inspiring" etc. It's not inspiring at all. What they're really thinking is "wow, you can make it without effort, talent, skill or knowledge". That's what inspiring them.

You're not even going to be indexed in a week never mind making money.

People don't want the truth, they want hope so they can pretend they'll make it one day. They want to read a thread, have some hope, then go watch tv and feel all cozy in the thought they can do a few hours work and make $$.

If you said to most people they're going to have to work 5000 hours in business before even making what they'd make at mcdonalds, they wouldn't start. The life of your dreams is possible, entirely doable, 100% doable, but you have to be willing to outwork everyone else. Everyone will succeed if they commit their life to business, and work long hard hours. That's the hard part.

I know some are going to reply and take issue with what I've said, but it's the reality of the mindset most people have when it comes to IM. I don't mince words.

I do a mix of everything.

Main tip is to get conversations going. Use private proxies and create several legit-looking accounts on high-traffic forums and keep maintaining them. Don't just use it once and throw it away.

Regarding being an expert - do 5 minutes of research and rewrite other people's posts and articles into small forum posts.

Don't worry about the meetups and whatever, no one will judge you. I.e. no one is going to give you shit on BHW if you won't post your real name, picture or won't attend a meet-up. Same same

bodybuilding forum
best fitness forums
weight loss forum etc

Then use a tool called SimilarWeb (and SEMRush) to compare the traffic the forums get and prioritize them.

My method is similar but I just check later how many people is online and know which forum is most popular.
