Cleaning up bad spammy links.

I was a complete idiot and bought this SEO service: http://fiverr.com/wiki_linkers/writ...-on-5500-wiki-directories-for-21999-backlinks

I've also had few other SEO service which were cheap.
I've also bought many expensive SEO service.

Overall, I think all of these hurt my website more than do any good.

My ranking dropped but not significantly yet.

Should I go and purchase a link removal service? or leave it alone?
I am not sure what my next step should be.

I know I was a real idiot but I would like to try and fix all these. It's hurting my sales.

If you're worried about the quality of the links from that service, then the most logical thing to do is:

Copy all the links from the report the seller sent you wen the gig was finished and paste them into disavowal. This way the links won't count and you don't have to live in fear!

Don`t submit these to disavow - the major part of these wiki publication will NEVER become indexed; indexing low quality wikis nowadays in nearly impossible. So, the good news are - don`t worry about that gig.

That's good to hear. I did buy a lot of SEO service before this also. What should I do with those? Leave it alone or try it disavow it?

Some links I don't even have the report anymore. I may need to purchase a link removal service from third party.

My rankings are going down more and more everyday. This is worrying me a lot.

I know this is few years old, but I think it makes the most sense to ask my question in this thread since it is about the same topic and should help others

I have checked my google report and see few spammy backlinks. These are pure spammy sites, which just crawl country specific blogs and copy the content into their site with tons of other shit. And once you go to that page, you get shit load of popup adds.

Would using disavow tool really help in this case or should I just not worry about these spammy backlinks which scream from 100 miles away that I am a spammy website.

Better get a new domain and start from scratch.

Tring disavowing them, can't hurt to test.

But yes starting on a new domain is a good option so you have a backup plan as well

very good suggestion from 2 newbies!! i assume you would tell the same thing to amazon.com, get a new domain. May I suggest not to respond with solutions until you get some street credit from here!! unless you just want to increase your comment count, which is very childish.
