Forcing Post Notifications?

I don't know if there is some bug in Instagram at the moment, or they're fishing for botters, or it's some new hack that people have figured out, but I am getting post notifications on my phone for people when I have not asked for them.

It is always from people I am following or have followed recently. I am using MassPlanner on my main account that I use on my phone, which is where these notifications are showing up.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Nope, not for me. Maybe you accidentally turned on post notifications for those accounts?

No, definitely not. Each time I get a post notification (sometimes multiple times per day, sometimes from the same account, sometimes from others) I double check to ensure they're turned off, and they always are.

That's really weird. Hope it's just a bug or something. Did you try turning it off? Do you still get notifications?

This has been happening to me too for about a week. I get random notifications from accounts i have never seen, just because i have followed them. I 100% have not turned on post notifications for them.

It's obviously somewhat related (I wouldn't be / have been following the person without the bot) but I wonder if it's related to a specific bot or version of bot.

I follow and unfollow manually, haven't used any bot in a couple months. I don't want to risk getting banned.

Interesting, so it's probably a bug with Instagram itself, unless there's another commonality that we're somehow missing? (aside from the fact we're all following/unfollowing)

Same happening for me the last week or so, using Mass planner. I thought the first time I might have accidentally turned it on, but nope, and then I had a few more coming since. This is definitely not a hack, seems like a glitch.
