Ok I am very interested in this and I almost just bought the Master reseller biggest package but I am a complete noob with this. The prices look great compared to the big names and whats offered. I was going through the buying process and it says I need to have a domain and I put one in and it said it would be 15.97 a year or something like that with the purchase of the package... that kinda confuses me because I thought I would be able to .. ya know host my own domains with this?
Please answer this OP or someone as I am actually wanting to make the purchase right now.
Also I'm pretty confused on how the reseller thing works.. especially with how I would resell a reseller package... do you make recurring money on something like this?
Would my customers know that hosting is from alpharacks or would it be my own company? Is that why I need a domain hosted ? What is the benefit haveing it hosted while being a reseller?
Sorry for the noob questions. I'm interested but I just don't completely get it. I did like 30min worth of research reading about it and it kinda cleared things up but also adding much more confusion to it.
Do you give a guide on exactly how to get everything going as a reseller?
Also if my customers came to me with an issue would I then go to you and then get back to them.. is that how that works?
It would be awesome if someone got back to me and cleared some of this up.

Dude, go to namecheap and get a domain for 88 cents a year! then when you go choose bottom option, add your own

Basically, you become the web host provider so you will need to do support, and bill your customers. You get 300 GIGS as a whole so its good to make accounts at 1 or 2 gigs limit. You can charge 5$ a month then get 7 customers you will get your money back in one month then profit rest

What is the point in them asking for that. Do you have to have a website to have the service. I'm still confused about that.

I'm understanding the basic aspect and I actually think I can do pretty good because I can think of plenty of ways to drive traffic to it. Plus I like that you can also be and affiliate for them and the money goes towards credit ... I guess good if you are paying for service.. Would be nice if that was extra profit though but still cool.
I don't get really how much of it works but .. I guess if I just buy it it will force me to learn so it will be like paying for learning as well. I can't imagine a better way then just diving in. Pretty much how I really learned anything.

I think they do it that way so they can make money selling domains, can't blame em! Go thru name cheap, then follow the instructions from email on how to set up an account (this will be for your users) where you can limit their package.

I have a question though, as far as free SSL certs, do I need to have a VPS? I don't think the master reseller includes that

I would also really like to know this. When I was looking into host reselling I was reading that a VPS is required and it doesn't say the package includes it.
