[Method] Make $1000 a Month With Amazon - Newbie Friendly [Phase 5a Published!]

This is a BEGINNER'S guide for people just getting started and to make their first $1 online.

The problem with focusing on SEO from the start is people spend weeks/months planning and doing research with no guarantee of success. When starting out (especially with your first site) making the first few dollars is the hardest. Keyword research/new content can always be added at a later date for less competitive keywords.

Seeing as at least 6 people have posted saying that they have been making sales already, what makes other guides "better"?

Just want to say thank you to your post. I have not made a $1 on IM. Going to give it a try after reading this post. You mentioned that you will be writing a more advanced guide for people who have $1000 to invest to start. If/when you have this guide to read or purchase, please send me a link. Thanks.

How did not see this post before - this is intense. Thanks for sharing...

So I was just thinking this; why aren't we supposed to use the 'mattresses' niche? If you are lazy and can't think much, why not use the mattresses niche and follow the meathead's steps exactly? Just wondering!

Because there will be 50 other people who have read this thread and will do exactly the same thing. There are not enough relevant forums for that many people to be doing this in the mattress niche...

Thanks for your reply! I kind of feel honored you quoted my post. :)

I have one tiny question for you.

I have been brainstorming several different niches. Finding and checking out the forums in that niche. Rarely, very rarely, I am finding any threads that I can target straight away and promote the site.

So I was thinking about creating more accounts on my niche's forums and ask the questions myself. And then answer those threads with my blogger accounts. In your experience, how well does this work?

if there is a lack of that question or related question being asked, that means, you probably picked a niche, that is not popular enough to promote it by forums. Asking the question yourself can be okay, but in my experience brings less results, because there will be less engagement in generel ( => in the end less content, less sharing)

Plus, even if you are using a different IP/etc, it may still be fairly obvious (writing style, date of joining, the 6th sense of the moderators, etc. ;) ) that you are answering your own questions as the same people may be frequenting more than one of these forums, and then you would get yourself banned with both accounts and IPs/etc.. Presuming you are going for the long term with your accounts, I would err on the side of going slower and just replying and not even posting links at first at all? For white-hat things, I spread out my promotion across so many things (social networks, blogs, offline word of mouth, printed products, SEO, and a bunch of other stuff) that going slow with new things isn't a big deal. It probably looks more natural when ranking too IMO?

Just create the second account a week after, use a proxy, change the writing style a little bit and try to answer completely different things on both accounts.

You can't keep doing that. You can't be replying with links with an account with 2-3 posts. Likewise, if you decide to make it genuine and 30+ post before you drop a link how effective is it really going to be to answer 1-2 questions with links before you 'create a third account'.

Who said you need to reply with links?
The thread could have links, asking if this review is accurate and if anyone tried the product before etc

Alright, I'm VERY interested in setting something like this up, and have been wanting to for about a year now. I've been lurking here and other forums for yearsss, just learning different terms and methods used. My problem is this: I want to choose a niche that I am interested in, but everything that I'm interested in seems to have -a lot- of competition. When I try to find something less aggressive, I fail. Niche selection has been the biggest problem for me aside from funding. This has been holding me back from starting an amazon site, because I don't have the funds to invest in outsourcing articles that I know nothing about. As a matter of fact, I don't have the funds to even follow this guide. I have about $10 to invest right now that I've made via various GPT stuff. So, I ask for the sake of starting this site, can anyone recommend a method that can make me maybe $100-200 reasonably quickly so I can actually invest in something like this?

Some info about me:
I live in the middle of nowhere at the moment.
I am unemployed, and am in one room pretty much 24/7 (a plus to this is free time for IM).
I don't have a car.
The nearest anything is a 4 hour walk down a dangerous, hilly, limited sight road.
Everyone I know and am close to lives an hour or more away, and generally aren't willing to travel to help more than once a month.
The people I live with have very "busy" schedules and can almost never take me anywhere (including to interviews, to fill apps, etc).
I am expecting a child in 6 months.

So as you can see, I'm in kind of a bad situation. Unable to get a job, with no form of transportation, and pretty much detached from civilization (the internet I'm using right now is actually not really reliable, or paid for. I'm piggybacking a distant neighbors xfinitiwifi using a patch antenna and an exploit for unlimited free trials). So I've turned to the web for opportunities to make some money. I'm about to start coin mining (I own a decent gaming desktop), but even that is only maybe $1 a day. If anyone can help me get started with this, be it private lessons, or just pointing me in a general directions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, sorry for the wall of text guys.

There's no 100-200 reasonably quickly dollars unless you start performing on cams or something like that. You don't need to outsource the articles as you can write them yourself, your english doesn't seem to be that bad. The domain can cost around 1$ with godaddy coupons, and get a cheap shared host for 1$/month.

A side note: coin mining will waste more electricity than it will make money. Unless you have free unlimited electricity that is.

Just got my first ORGANIC order! Still not on page 1 or #1 rank, but will be soon. Hovering around top of second page for main keywords.

Don't expect it to ship until possibly tuesday or so after Holidays. It works guys, take action! I am just testing this "amazon affiliate" niche site stuff, so I imagine
I could have done it a lot better. Still to early to tell whether or not I will earn XXX per month with this site. Will update anyone who is interested. If it goes well,
I will be making a lot more niche sites.

P.S. I am a SEO noob but I still got it to work. No Excuses.

Cheers

Nice work! Did you post on forums like the method said?
And did you do any offpage SEO?

No, I haven't posted on any forums. I was most focused on building content and reviews for the site.
I now do blog posts every 2-3 days to keep it updated. I bought some PBN links and Diversity Package
to get it started and it seems to be doing well.

I expect to be at top page within a couple weeks. I hit page one a couple days ago but they bounced back down
to page two. Though the first order was exciting to see.

Perhaps soon I will post in relative forums but the keyword is buyer intent so I don't have to worry about
them not buying.

How many articles as total ?

Thanks!

I have around 5-6 Blog Posts right now. I posted 20+ products and a review for each product.
So I believe the site has enough content to rank, and it already has. About 90% of the way there I'd say.

Still waiting on the remainder of the backlinks to kick in, only a couple are showing right now.

Not even sure on the Main KW density but my hom epage is ranking, for my main two keywords and
a few others that I setup. I think the key is just unique content and some good powerful backlinks (not cheap ones)
along with some patience. It does take some work initially but then you get down how you should structure your site
as well as get down th eprocess for setting on up. After I optimize for higher conversions, then I will have no problem
building out more sites in different niches to scale up the earnings.

If anyone is looking to try this method, the ideal time to start was yesterday! Do it now :)

Most forums have the option of 'Connect with Facebook'. Should we create a forum profile the normal way or should we use this option? But in order to use it, we will have to make a profile on Facebook first.

Thanks!

So you are not using forums to drive traffic and instead focusing on SEO only. Am I correct?
How good is your SEO knowledge? Are you doing it yourself or hiring SEO providers?
