Anyone got banned this week?

In last 30 days they terminated ~250 accounts. I'm getting banned almost everyday. 10-15 accounts/day.
I don's know how they choose the accounts to terminate, but some accounts lasts for months, while others are dead in a few hours.

Are you seeing more bans recently or less ? Meaning in the last week did you get less bans than when this mess started in May, or are your accounts being banned at the same rate?

Start of may: ban rate 10/10
End of may: ban rate 4/10
Now: ban rate 9/10

I had the same as you for May but now mine's 6/10.

I hope more people post so we can get an idea of what's going on and maybe get around this somehow.

It's very good to know that you are not the only one banned. I was blaming my proxies, but after trying different services the results were the same.

I queued posts between 8 and 14 per day, 1 or 2 affiliate link per week and copped a few bans all in one go, so stopped the affiliate part and just kept topping up queue to about 50-80 then leaving it for a a week or so, posting nothing, hoping to fly under the radar while they were banning everyone, still occasionally added to the queue, still no affiliate links and bang, banned one after another, day after day.

I use TumblingJazz bot, getairmail for my throwaway email addresses and private US proxies, 1 per account.

Tumblr has become too much like hard work, you need the ability to turn and burn many accounts but you can never build up a following that way imo.

Thanks for posting this. So even when you leave out the affiliate links you still get banned??? Were the accounts NSFW?

It's been suggested that Tumblr bans groups of accounts based on the domain of the email address used to sign up to the account with. For example, if you get 20 accounts banned, check to see what email addresses were used, all yahoo.com? hotmail.com etc...

Tumblr just banned 50 accounts in 2 waves, in ~2-3 hours.

Yeah, all NSFW

The email addresses are randomly created, they don't have any associations with each other, that's why I used them.
The only common factor between all the banned accounts is the TumblingJazz bot.

Seems then that if Tumblr detects bot-like activity of any kind with a NSFW account then the account is doomed. Not sure how they are detecting the bot activity though.

I tried to do 1 NSFW account MANUALLY. It got banned. 25 reblogs/day + 10 uploaded photos.

So you manually reblogged 25 posts per day and manually uploaded 10 pictures (with or without links?) and you were banned? How long did that account last?

Same here.
It really started in the beginning of May, Tumblr banned all my 400 accs for 1 month.
All account were SFW without affiliate links.
In the middle of the month I switched proxies to another package, it helped for a week, but then bans continued.
I was trying to slow this procces by deleting all the posts from accs after each 3rd day. But in the end of May even this stopped workin

My posts had no caption/hyperlink. Only 2-3 repetitive tags. I was using a proxy.

Hmm .. so you did everything in a legitimate way and still got banned. My guess would be the proxy. I remember years ago opening 2 accounts manually and then trying a 3rd and they wouldn't let me. So I used a proxy and opened 2 more and then another proxy etc... at one point they wouldn't let me no matter how good the proxy was until 24 hours had passed so I know they KNOW (sort-of) when you are using a proxy, at least to some degree.

I was using TumblingJazz since December and earned about 4k$
Now it doesnt work - coz Tumblr steadily bans all these SFW accs - each day - ~10 accs or more. Even without links in content.

And i suppose Tumblr added almost all Skylikes links in ban-list and i can't post 90% of their links - it just doesnt publish it! Or instantly terminates.

awww crap. I came back around here after about a month of not checking to see if the dust might have settled on the tumblr front. BUt looks like not.

Some guy on skype is showing off how well hes doing on tumblr and from this thread I suspect bullshit on his part.
