What country are your videos getting played in. CPM is also determined by the countries videos are played in. And to grow your channel, be consistent and learn from others without copying them..

yours is way better, though my videos usually are less than 60 seconds lol, sad thing is only one video gets the 97% of the earnings. all Natural no bots, I guess I learn it now quality over quantity, coz I keep uploading short videos and I see that I'm losing more subscribers than gaining so I stop and will try to make quality ones.

It is good amount especially if you are starting. There are always hurdles here and there when you begin any form of campaign. However, when you get on track, you need to look for the ways in which you will be improving the income. I am so sure that you do not want to be in the same place of earning at the end of the year. Do set targets to do wit the earnings and work hard towards making them true.
Time to scale this 10x! You're doing a great job if it is a whitehat!
But if it is a blackhat(reuploading) then make the best of it before you'll get banned.

Am I doing the math wrong? OP has around 1.6$ CPM. His end of the month numbers, are great though.
