I'm looking to take a delve into link building and while I want to do this responsibly, I also want to make sure I have a few fail-safes in place that will protect my money site(s).
I am hoping to use this thread to outline a plan, get suggestions and overall to help people on a similar journey to find the help they need.
It is important to note that I am new to link building and that it is very possible that I may outline a plan that is flawed. I hope when this happens there will be those among you who will point this out to me. Or, leave me to learn from my mistakes
Here is the basic structure I would like to follow:
Tier 3 > Tier 2 > Tier 1 > Buffer Sites > Money Site(s)
Buffer Sites:
So firstly, I want to build some decent quality buffer sites. The aim is to build between 15-20 of these each month (180-240 a year). I may scale this up if at some point I am able to hire a VA or two to churn these out.
Ideally, I would like to start the buffer sites off with at least 10-20 pieces of unique content each. This would mean I need between 150-400 pieces of content each month. Seems excessive so any input you have on this would be very appreciated.
I also would like to keep these buffer sites regularly updated with at least 1 piece of unique content every 1-2 weeks. Over the course of a year this would mean an exponential increase in content creation costs. I feel however that these sites shouldn't use spun or otherwise auto-generated content.
I will likely build these sites on a combination of platforms - wordpress.com, self-hosted wordpress, tumblr, bravenet, etc.
Does anyone recommend using automated tools to create these? Rankwyz, rankerx, ultimatedemon? Or would manual creation be the best option?
Tier 1:
Very similar to Buffer sites above since these too need to be of exceptional quality. Would you simply remove the buffer sites and use Tier 1 sites setup like explained above and link to money site(s)?
Tier 2:
I was going to use GSA for this. My issue is I have never used GSA and I was wondering what the learning curve is like. Is it a must to use it in conjunction with Scarpebox? Do I need to have a lot of proxies? Are there some link types within GSA that should be avoided? What kind of quality am I looking for here?
Tier 3:
Similar to Tier 2, I am looking to use GSA, so much of the same questions and concerns.
Tools, rules and ideas:
What are some suggested tools, rules and ideas for each of the link layers? I'm obviously asking the questions but this thread, if it gains traction, will be helpful to many setting out on a similar path to me.
Thank you in advance to everyone that participates.
