Mod and Appreciation

I am speaking here from personal experience and based on being a member of BHW for a number of years.

The Staff, Mods and Admin here at BHW have always been around and on hand to help members use the forum, to help break up the little spats between members, to remove the idiots and in general to make sure that the entire forum remains the premier Internet Marketing forum that it is today.

During and since the change of platform, design and features of the forum I can't help but notice that the Mods and Admins have been working flat out to make the change over as smooth as possible and sort out any issue as soon as possible.

These changes have benefited every single member at BHW and I would personally like to thank all of the Admins, Staff and Mods who have played their part (often behind the scenes) in making this place better than it already was and working so hard to make it happen.

I have seen first hand how much work @Apricot has tirelessly put in to this with managing the Market Place which I appreciate was hard enough to begin with but since the changes have been implemented it is clear that the standard expected in the Market Place is being raised. And that's a good thing.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of dealing with @OldSalt, @BassTrackerBoats, @BigBuddy, @Whisker, @Diamond Damien, @Apricot plus others. I am personally very grateful to this team, along with the many others who work behind the scenes, for the continued help that they provide, for the continued effort in driving this entire forum forward, and for making it a better place to be at.

Personally experienced this. Have been quick to edit out any formatting issues or hosted image related issues at marketplace without much fanfare doing it tirelessly inspite of the number of PMs that i myself have sent. Hats OFF

P.S I still appreciate the efforts of the people working here, but I am sure they are paid for their efforts, just like all "workers".

Let me stop you right there.

Most of these mods volunteer for their services. They are not paid. @OldSalt is absolutely amazing for not taking one penny while devoting his time to sorting out SLs fairly and diligently. He does that in his spare time. And other mods do too.

You know why? Because they love this place.

He's not brown nosing. He's showing real appreciation. This forum is massive. It takes a lot of time and effort to run. Even if they were getting paid, there's nothing wrong with saying thank you. It's just common decency to do so.

That's what's wrong with the world today. People have zero manners, and they write off their negative attitudes by saying "I live in the real world." So do I. And in the real world, I say thank you to anyone doing a job for me, even the barista at Starbucks and the maids who clean my hotel room. Just because its their job doesn't mean we shouldn't treat them like human beings.

I've seen OP help out many people before, he's not brown nosing. And believe me, the administrators and moderators are not so narcissistic as to pay off a reputable member to ass-kiss them. In what world would that be financially profitable on their own site, where their own actions can be clearly shown and speak for themselves?

You're just judgmental, if anything, and unnecessarily so. Everybody has a right to be skeptical, but if there is no specific reason to call somebody out as dishonest then it is better to not make unfounded accusations. That's all we're saying.
