Hi

At the moment I get traffic via PPC and send to a sales site, nothing fancy and just use g**gles trackings software to work out my costs per keyword.

But I've tested before, and found g**gles only knows where 86% of my sales come from which is a real pain when using optimizer.

So when using optimizer with a simple a/b split test I use different item numbers in DL-guard to work out which is best. Then I simply count sales numbers that turn up in my email. It's simple but it works.

The problem comes when split testing lots of pages, and soon I'll be launching an email campaign with lots of variables and multiple sources of traffic and all these different item numbers could get a bit out of hand especially as I've only one product on this site.

So what I want to know is there a way of tracking this that will be reliable and accurate and allow me to just have one item in my my shopping cart (dl-guard)

Any help would be great, and any problems you've had in trying to find descent tacking software would also be great advice.

Thanks

Rick

ugh, reading your post makes my head spin, wtf are you looking for now?

I came up with a neat outbound link tracker a while back, is this something similar?
