Total Newbie!

Okay.. total newbie here. You've been warned. I've been reading the twitter section, but am having some trouble wrapping my arms around everything.

I've been playing the instagram game for a little while now & have had some success. I wanted to give twitter a try.

My twitter account is about 8 years old. I've literally done nothing with it. Maybe 10 tweets in those years.

I've been using FollowLiker for instagram & like it. I purchased a license for twitter & am ready to get started.

My main goal is to drive traffic to my IG account, but I'm also okay with just building a following on twitter.

Questions:

• What's the best way to repost my IG content? Directly from the IG app to twitter? Hootsuite?
• Tags - how exactly do tags work on twitter (compared with IG)?
• What best to scrape in FL? Tags? Users? Relevant / Recent?

Is it best to post the actual picture on twitter, or just a blurb from my IG description & then a link to the IG account? That's basically what happens when you share from the IG app.

do you want to monetize directly your twitter accounts, or do you want to use your twitter accounts to drive traffic to your instagram accounts?

I'm fairly sure you can repost your content from Instagram to Twitter using an RSS feed, also the best method of scraping I have found is more of following the followed of related accounts. So user follower, and target the most recent people who follow accounts that are just like yours or that would be interested in your account. You can post some content and write in there to follow you on Instagram as well, put it in your bio, or set up an automatic DM service thanking them for the follow, and mentioning your other social media platforms to keep them in the loop more, or see more of your content.

I use IFTTT for auto reposting my instagram pictures to twitter. All you have to do it set it up and then add a piece of text that will be used for every tweet to accompany the pic
