sounds like you have a plan set up. the key is stick to you.

So many times I see people set up a plan then after a week or two they don't see rankings then they buy this link list or do that and then they never get ranked.

In this business. Set a plan, Set check points, look at your data, adjust plan and repeat.

I think you have more competition according to your niche. So, look at your competitor's keywords and make optimize your site for SEO ie., ONpage SEO.
Then as your plan build more links in PBN or guest post blogs. It will definitely increase your earning from Adsense.
