I don't mean on first page, but in the first 100 or 250 results at least. I decided to make a test micro niche website to see if I can rank it, I chose a very low competition keyword with 2k US monthly searches and got 2 high quality articles, after setting everything up I purchased a $15 SEO pyramid drip feed plan from a reputable seller which included high PR backlinks, profile links, social bookmarks, blog comments etc

It's been 12 days since I received the SEO report (so about 22 days since link building started) and the website has been registered since 22.5.

Again, I'm not talking about first page or first result on google, I'm just wondering how long it takes to get in the top 100 or 250 results, or to even appear on any of the google position checker websites.

Weird that it's taking so long for you.. I'm ranking all my websites and they are (mostly) on the first page of Google..

This is, actually,.. a very good question my friend.

I have it in my mind for a long time "how long and how much money i have to spend to take #1 rank in #1 page google?"

You never knew when it will appear on Google SERPs. all you need to do is post 100% unique and fresh contents on your site and build high quality relevant links.

Wait for google to recognize your site. It will automatically appear when all the aspects are set right. (I mean the On & OFF page factors)

For me, this is the best answer... and A Lot of internet marketers is failed and gave up on the process.

Are you doing your own SEO or are you paying someone else to do it, also how many articles do your websites usually have when they start ranking?

Well. It actually depends on the competition and niche you choose. however no one can really assume when it will become under #300 of Google.
For a low-medium competitive niche with fresh content and quality back links would usually take 1-3 weeks to impact and reaching top 100(with my past experiences I am saying).

I'm doing the SEO myself, with plugins (Running on WordPress). I'm writing the articles my self with my own knowledge. These are articles related to online Earn methods though

As Aristaa said it depends highly on your niche. Sounds like you're in the make money online niche which is pretty stacked, competition wise. For the low competition niches I target, most pages come in the top 100 EASILY as soon as they are indexed.

It's a small niche with very low competition, but even then, shouldn't the website be at least in the top 300 by now? it even shows up on google when I search for the exact domain.
it seems like I'm missing something major/obvious... maybe there's a setting to make it appear in the SERPs or something? does it matter whether I verify that I'm the owner on google webmaster tools?

I have a 3 month old site never appear in search engine, until last week it rank at 80, but now disappear again. But normally, my new sites will rank in g within 2 weeks.

I don't think you've done a great job with outbound links @boraba. Remember, link diversity is the key to a successful SEO campaign.

Well it takes time, mostly depends on your site which means you have choosen the best path for selecting the keyword and used the quality content without any spammy links.
Sure it will be indexed soon:)

Its true,.. the short or long journey easy or hard one to get #1 in google is begin with "keyword research"

How long it takes begins with the fact that Google usually takes 2 weeks after links are posted to get results, it then goes on to take into consideration how old your site is. Brand new sites are "sand boxed" in a little virtual penalty box where they are harder to rank and this effect gets rolled back little by little over time. Its been said that a site isn't "fully aged" until its 2+ years old.

And finally you need to ask yourself honestly "Is my website a piece of crap?" because the worse your on-site SEO is, and the poorer your content is the HARDER it will be to rank you. The amount of time and links it takes to rank my site #1 might not even rank a worse site #20. Far too many clients have shit sites and then go blow $1,000 on SEO all in one month and then get mad when they aren't #1 in all their keywords four weeks later. You see it happen here ALL THE TIME.

SANDBOX DOES NOT EXIST i so sick of people saying new sites go to sandbox

I have a site I built a month ago. After a couple weeks my pages started showing up under 100 for their terms. There's still a couple coming in.

Are you even indexed yet?

You should begin showing up in the 100s pretty quickly after indexation.

Took my site a couple weeks after indexation and I was on page 3.

It depends what niche you are targeting. For long tail keywords I've got a method with reddit that ranks #1 or #2 within 30 mins. Love it ! Just need a way to monetize it a bit more

Would you care to elaborate a bit moee?
