What Happened To My IG Account???

Hey Guys,

I had a pretty successful IG account in the car niche that I've been building for the past year and a half. It just hit 130k followers with over 1700 posts. I've devoted a lot of time to it and it's been going well. I had just posted a video at around 3PM and went in to check on it just about 30 minutes ago and was logged out. This has been happening within the past couple of months so I would go ahead and change my password and log in again. When I went to change my password just now I would get the following error message:





After that happened, I logged into my personal account to check my other account. Then I see this:





Any ideas what happened? I didn't get an email from IG stating that my account was disabled or anything. I still have access to my email address hooked up to that account and nothing fishy going on there...

Note: I have not signed into any apps, websites, or anything else with my password. The only thing I have signed into with my login and password is Follow Liker.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is nothing much, we can do buddy. But your best option is to contact instagram support and explain them the situation. Your acc may be hacked.
Where your FL settings aggressive ?

Have you ever been loged in Instagram Official Website on your computer ?

Thanks for the replies. My FL settings weren't too aggressive. They were set to follow roughly 800-900 per day and unfollow around 600. Likes were also between 800-900 and comments were around 80.

I haven't logged into that account on my computer.

Also I was reading around that if my account was hacked I would get an email stating that my email was changed. I haven't gotten that email or any suspicious emails.

800-900 follows per day is too aggressive.

While the limits do vary on accounts, IG might have caught up with you.

Hmm. I would hate to think that I'm the reason for this. I would have been happier thinking it got hacked haha. I always thought I wasn't being too aggressive with it after reading around on here and talking with FL support.

I wont risk over 700 followings per day. For me the reason is one of these:
1. Followings settings
2. Comments settings
3. Hacked acc
4. Aliens

btw. I never comment when botting accs, cuz this is what banned me when I started with IG an year ago.
Another question for you OP: WHO bots accounts with over 100k followers ? It's a huge risk.

I guess I just never stopped botting once I surpassed 100k. If I cannot get it back from IG, then I'll just live and learn. Start fresh and change things up.

This definitely sounds like account was hacked, if you aren't getting anything from IG saying email was changed or anything, is it possible that hacker has email account info too? And they deleted those emails?
I'm pretty sure you will know if your account was banned... so yeah not sure about what really happened to it; best of luck finding out

Thanks bud! I am hoping to hear back from Instagram shortly about what happened. I would really love to get it back but I have started back up already. Failure is all part of success!

No, but if you have been infected by a stealer on your computer, the hacker can get your password in a minute.

It's not. It's 130k account. He can follow up to 1200 if he wants to.

His account is aged too which mean more credibility for the Instagram Algorithm .

I doubt it's the issue of being "aggressive"

Can you view the account just as a regular user?

Also, maybe try searching for some of your content and see if the account name has been changed. You should be able to find your own content with a little searching.

My guess would be that your account's username has been taken (with the pass). A lot of people sell tools like this.

May I know what was the username?

I have tried to search for my content and cannot find anything. When I search to find the username I can view it but only from my personal page (I think because I've search it a bunch in the past) If I try to search it from another device/user it does not come up. The username looks how the 2nd picture I uploaded looks.

Its a long shot but you need to find your ID number for that account.

Instagram will have a better understanding of which account youre talking about then.

A lot of the sites which used to be able to give you your ID dont work anymore since the API change in June so you'll have to find a way.

I knew a guy who had a 50k account hacked both email and IG account. Hackers renamed the account several times to try and cover their tracks but the ID always stays the same so we could keep track of it and feed that info to IG.

Unless the hackers spammed the hell out of your account the account will still exist in some form...
