Does this H1 trick work?

Hi guys,

I have came across few webstores having multiple categories published with identical products. The only thing seperating them is a unique H1 tag and very short product description.

So im wondering does this work to vacuum up some long tale traffic, publishing several categories thats not visible for the users only trough the SERP with unique H1 and description?

it just means that the competition is really weak if they are doing well just that.. nothing else.

Ofcourse they have a strong linkbase, company has existed over more then 20 years. But if they are doing then im thinking it should be a pretty good and proven method to catch some of the long tales that are very valuable. Anyone have much experience of this technique?

no, no .. you are so wrong here.. great long text (much longer than 400 words as we used to think up till last year), good and well organised inner links as well as matching h1, h2s and h3s are way too important than 100 directory links (or some other sh*! links)..

google isn't the same dumb 5years old girl - today she is an experienced "puta" (look up Spanish word) who is experimenting with technologies that soon will be called "artificial intelligence".

You're a dummy. Yes, articles need to be longer. Yes, articles need to have the basic functions such as H1, H3.

But all that still only matters maybe... 15%? She's not an "experienced" puta. You're just an inexperienced whiny puto. Clueless of how to rank so you spout off nonsense about how content is king.

Guys, this has nothing to do with links, i am working on the link profile. This is about dominating a market, and not saying no to all long tales combinations that consists of 85% of all search traffic. Incorporating these important long tales into each category that shows the buyer that the Y long tale + X product is exactly what they been looking for. My logical side says that this is a very good strategy as long as its done properly for a web store. But i wouldnt mind some input from more experienced on-page experts.
