I have a question for expired domains which i check with majestic.

many blogs have a lot of backlinks but even no CF.
are they worth for registering ???

or its better to register blogs which have sometimes only 5 backlinks but a CF and TF ?

i mean SEO wise. Which are the better blogs ?

You'll have to manually check the links to see if they're crap. People only really use TF/CF to filter there domains down to a smaller list.

But honestly, if I was to scrape I would filter the domains to TF0-9 because there are so many scraping for TF10+ domains.

You have to look at the backlinks themselves.

If you see that the root domain has a certain TF/CF number, but the home page has zero, check if the backlinks are all pointing to inner pages. Or, check if they are pointing to the non-www version of the home page.

But if the root domain has no CF but lots of referring domains, you will often find that they all come from domains with no CF themselves, in which case avoid.

they have at least 1 good inbound link.

You are doing it wrong and wont get very far if your just registering everything with a TF.

Look for RD 20+, then check the backlinks for spam or low quality, then check anchor text for porn/casino/chinese, then check wayback machine for previously used as PBN or spam.

That's the basic idea anyway. You should research more about it or go to a trusted seller as you are throwing away money and potentially hurting your money site by just relying on TF/CF metrics.

Actually I should amend what I just wrote. It's domains with high CF but zero TF you need to avoid. A link from a page with TF=0, CF=0 is just harmless, could be a forum post link or whatever, you can't avoid getting some of these if you have any number of referring domains. But you need to avoid the domains that have lots of links where TF=0 but CF is higher. These are more likely to be regarded as spam.

it doesn't actually matter the number of back links. you could check the ratio between number of total backlinks and number referring domains - 100 links from single site does not bring you good value to the domain. And also, its good as long as you see the ration of TF and CF as closer to 1:0.8.

Yes.you can register the domains with just 5 back links if it has good TF and CF. Again number of back links doesnt matter but the power of back links do.

Aside from CF and TF, you should also consider where these links are coming from. The CF and TF may be high but the referring domains may be crap, these metrics can easily me manipulated.

As mentioned above, all metrics can be manipulated, thus it is important to check backlinks manually and make sure that they are of high quality. Personally, I consider only TF, CF, CF/TF ration and RD.
