Hello,

If I wanted to host and run a website that could in no way be traced back to me by people or feds what exactly are the specifics that needed to be done?

Regards,

L

I would recommend you to use cloudflare, they can help you in this regard

Purchase all services from places outside the feds jurisdiction. Preferably also live outside said jurisdiction ;)

What you need, my friend, is anonymous hosting and be able to pay with Bitcoin that can't be traced back to you. I also suggest building your website via a remote desktop (VPS) and not logging into anything that may expose your identity (e.g. Facebook, email) via the browser.

Or use proxies if you have to go via the browser. ORRRR use a VPN... I heard that the US is trying to outlaw vpns, but we will see if that sticks

You could go to a private hosting which hides your data on the whois/DNS. You could also pay with Bitcoin and use proxy/VPN

Never been a fan of using VPN's. But I guess that option is possible too.

Thanks for all your replies, if you want to earn money for advice then get in touch.

Offshore Hosting, CloudFlare, Secured E-Mail or VPS and you are 99% secure!

Can you please stop referring Cloudflare claiming that is secure that that it protects you. Cloudflare will give all information they have for you on anyone (even your grandma) who get in contact with them. They don't protect your identity or vs DMCA or anything. Your best bet is to go with Offshore Hosting and managing your VPS through SSH behind proxy and VPN.

Aha.. I don't think that CloudFlare will do that unless you are into something illegal! It would be against the Data Law I assume. Otherwise go with Sucuri.net works great too just cost a lot of money!

Thanks for all your replies, can any of you offer more information regarding this topic and selling online - I do not mean the darkweb,

That depends, you want to sell drugs like silk road did :) or other products ..

If you want to make sure you cant be tracked, than i would suggest you to build a different online identity, start from building your profile with socks and always pay for your needed stuff ( domains , hosting etc ) with bitcoins.

Thanks for the advise, I will do. No not drugs, but need to stay totally annoymous, are there laws in the UK that will let them find out info about me? I know they located silkroad servers but no one knows how they did it...

Its a little offtopic, the stupidity of one of the admins turned out to be his own judgment. His greed and posting lead the Fed`s right up to his front door.
