GoDaddy has been very restrictive about repeating domain buys with promo codes using same account/CC.. Does anyone knows if it's once a month that you can buy again using a promo?

Once per account, that means you only use the 99 cent coupon only once on your account, you can not use another 99 coupons again.

Godaddy used to let you sit there and use coupon after coupon, buying many domains for cheap. Once you ran out of coupons, you just made a second account and kept doing it. There were so many promo codes! Earlier this year, Godaddy changed their rules and now you can only use a "Type" of coupon once and if they see you trying to make two accounts, they won't let you get the discount on a second account either. Now in order to do it, you have to use a proxy/VPN and clear your cookies. Even then, you'll only get to use one or two promo codes per account. Don't forget also, if you search Google for "Cheap domains" you'll see a 0.99 promo for 1and1.com. I think there's also a name.com promo. Sometimes you have to go through Google to find the landing page. Register.com occasionally has a $5 domain promo. If you buy prepaid gift cards you can make your rounds across the registrars and get cheap domains all day.

The point of gift cards is that you can use one to take advantage of the coupons all the registrars are providing then use a new gift card to create new accounts at the registrars again, again using their coupons thus bypassing coupon restrictions.

I see that with Godaddy, you can usually use coupons with new & fresh account, and after that you can not use again. but with gift cards, do you mean using it many time with all the registrars? Right?

I have had my friend who runs a hosting company complaining that Godaddy has limited number of domains that you can purchase. I hope this was resolved because I want to buy several domains in order to expand my business especially the ecommerce. Let me check them out and I will for sure give some feedback from my side.

As I know, there's unlimited. I don't know the maximum domains per account at Godaddy. If you want to expand your business, do you need 100+, 1000+ domains? I think some hundreds are very much
