Hey everybody,

So one of our products is a cosmetic/medical natural remedy (which actually works) and we are about to launch to south america... the question is how will the conversions vary and compare to North America and Europe and whether south americans use Paypal as a payment method (unfortunately thats the only gateway we have at the moment).

If anybody got any experience I would be more than grateful.

Thanks!

I recommend mexico, argentina, spain, colombia, brazil, chile and peru. The rest are poor countries.

LATAM is really hot in PPV & Display advertising. I see a lot of new products comming up. In general those fresh markets with not so saturated audience - think trials for instance

Hello my friend. Here in Brazil customers who buy over the Internet are used to pay with Paypal. Many people import products from China (Alibaba Deal Extreme, etc) to resell across the country. However, PayPal is not the first choice. Usually Brazilians prefer to pay with PagSeguro, a national company. If you come to Brazil, I advise you to use PagSeguro. This will make a good difference in your sales. If you have any questions will be happy to help.

I dont know about conversion in health but mexicans use paypal often. We only care that we can use our credit card.

The most popular payment method in Brazil is called "Boleto Bancário", it's like an invoice with barcode that can be paid usually in any bank, or in any "specialized payment houses" (called Lotericas in portuguese) / - you can find one in every corner in Brazil.

It's so popular due to the fact you can go to these payment houses with cash and make the payment easily, even if you don't have a bank account or credit card.

So you should take a look at this payment method and begin using it. I think there's a company called EBANX that can help you out.
Take a look here https://www.ebanx.com/business/en

They can process the payment in local payment methods and send to you anywhere in the world. This may be very helpful for you.
