Hey BHW, I was thinking of buying 50k views for my music video along with comments and likes. If the song is good will that be enough to make it viral?

No... If it was that easy the word "viral" would be changed to "spam".

here is a tip.. join fb filmmaker groups and share the link as if you have just shot it + ask for suggestions ;)

you will get views, likes, shares, comments etc..

Hey BHW, I was thinking of buying 50k views for my music video along with comments and likes. If the song is good will that be enough to make it viral?

It depends. What it takes to go viral varies a lot, and it's not about how many views you get from buying them, it's how much growth you can as a result. A few factors that can impact how much it takes include:
  1. Potential Audience – The larger your potential audience (ie. people listening to your music genre), the more room you have to go viral. If your music is in a small genre or niche with few listeners, you can still go viral within the genre group, but it won't be typical "Viral" in the way most think of i.
  2. Competition – Who else is your audience listening to? If you have a lot of other artists / brands competing for the same audience, it will be tougher to go viral. If you don't, then it will be easier. Your potential audience also plays a factor here, because they are who you're fighting for.
  3. Video / Music Quality – This is extremely important. A shitty video or song won't do you any good and no matter how much you try, it won't go viral. On the other hand, an AWESOME video or song will give your viral campaign steroids because it's litterally the fuel to the fire.
Now assuming you have an AWESOME video and song, here's what you can expect:
  • If you have a small potential audience and the competition is high, going viral will be a difficult uphill battle. Doable because you're so awesome, but tough because you have a lot of other videos fighting for a small crowd.
  • If you have a large potential audience and the competition is high, going viral is doable. A little tough, but very possible.
  • If you have a large potential audience and the competition is low, going viral will be easy.
Now in regards to how to go viral, there's more than just buying views. Buying views can help you get the ball rolling, but you still need to do more. Here are a few tips for promoting your video to go viral:
  • Promote it on Social Media
  • Get others to promote it on social media
  • Post about it on online music communities (ie. Reddit)
  • Email it to your fans (if you have an email list)
Hope this helps.
