Post Requirements to Start Conversation - Please Restore

Hi Mods,

DD mentioned that there was a temp restriction on starting conversations with other members, also known as private messaging (PM). During beta, a 50 post and 30d on site requirement was in place.

This week the prior restrictions were going to be restored - according to DD.

I used to be able to Start Convo (PM) with other members, but this has not been restored yet.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are - keep it that way. Sucks for you maybe but overall i think its good for the forum

We're keeping the 50 post 30 day requirement whilst we sort out some spam management issues. It will return to the previous requirement once these are impemented.

Thanks for starting this thread, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't PM. It's probably for the best but perhaps 50 is a bit high.
