So I bought GSA SER recently and I'm trying to learn the ropes, but I have a few questions that only my friends at BHW can answer.

1. How do I make powerful site lists to get me high quality back links to my web 2.0 profiles

and

2. What on earth is a target URL?!

I know this is a noob question, but please go easy on me!

sorry if this is not posted in the right area.

  1. Scrape sites with footprints that GSA can post to, such as scrapebox and SEO List Builder. I'm affiliated with both.
  2. Target URL refers to the links that GSA will be posting it's URL on other sites. (Your own links, such as money site).
Try searching on youtube for video guides, GSA seems like it's hard to use but you can learn everything it can do in just about 10 hours. Just follow some good long video guides.

I remember I downloaded three 1 hour long vidoes and watched all of them, I still have it in my download folder, after that it was just beast mode.

May I use those videos that you have downloaded? I can PM you my personal email?

Also, what kind of back links would be considered "good enough" for a web 2.0 profile?

Come on man, they're like 1.5gb total, I'm not going to upload that. Just check youtube for mathewwoodward gsa videos, more will pop up.

Hello Seth, consider im in the same boat with you, recently bought SER.. take a seat and coffee to read some in-depth SER tut from Mathew Woodward here:

_http://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/tutorials/gsa-search-engine-ranker-advanced-optimization/

That tut was updated in may 2016 so its not out-dated tutorial i think.

And may i use your thread to ask some question rather making new thread so we can learn together from experts who kindly reply here.

After get hands-on SER, is it a valuable investment and will be more powerful (in link building) if i combine with ultimate demon?

Or maybe some suggestion on 'must-have' tools to make link building more powerful when combined with SER? And im prefer tools that one-time payment rather than monthly/annual subscript, but any suggestion will be appreciated.

Regards

Easiest way is to scour the web for as many site lists that you can find, then load them into GSA and scan for possible compatibility. Go from there...

Now my problem is that I can get the sitelist, but my backlinks are "pending verification."

A simple "no" would have sufficed.

Seth, you need to Google "Matthew Woodward GSA SER Tutorial" and read/watch everything. He'll show you how to work the software.

SER is an incredibly powerful tool. If you are a new user and want to blast massive amounts of links then you probably should invest in Scrapebox and GSA Platform Identifier. Or, you can subscribe to Loopline's Blue Box list and just feed it into SER. I've used SERocket, SER Verified Lists, and Loopline's List and I prefer Loopline's the most.

If you aren't using a pre-made list you might want to save your verified links to your verified folder. If you save your verified links you can go back and post to them again.

When you say "powerful" do you mean in terms of # of links or quality of links? If you mean quality of links then you are going to have to set some filters in SER and let it scrape and save your verified links to your verified folder. Or, you can use GSA Platform identifier to filter your Scrapebox output.

If I were you I would focus on learning the software and what all the features are. Once you get good at blasting spam then you can fine tune things a bit.

I don't use GSA often, but when I do and I need a fresh list of sites to post to I just buy lists from fiverr ;)
