Hello everyone, I am newly registered but have been a reader of this forum for some time. I am looking for some help with white hat seo for my local service business in the NY area. Does anyone have recommendations? The best thing you can do is look through the white hat seo forums to get at least a general idea of the types of things that might help, as well as the types of things which are a bit riskier that you might want to avoid. Once you have that information you'll be able to come up with a strategy and can start looking through the BST for services that will fit within that strategy.

At that point it becomes a matter of due diligence on your part to try finding the best service providers for yourself. It sounds like you want to minimize any chance of damaging your site, so that means you don't want to take as much risk with newer services without a track record. Look for services that have been around for awhile and have consistently good reviews by others in the thread, and really keep an eye out for criticisms and complaints from previous customers.
