Finally found a good thing about windows 10!!

Finally found something good about Microsoft's forced upgrade to windows 10 - I say forced because if you noticed recently Microsoft have started scheduling in upgrades to Windows 10 and just showing you the same message you always see about why you should CONSIDER upgrading to Windows 10, but in the small print it says that they have kindly scheduled it in for you!!

Anyway, it happened to one of my computers recently and actually the upgrade fixed an issue where windows backup would not run when destination was a network drive - was not working in windows 8.1 and now automatically it is working in Windows 10 - wohhayyy!!

I will stay with Windows 7 anyways, your Thread says only that they fixed a feature which they can't bring to work in Windows 8.1

i upgraded while it's still free as they are going to charge later on. windows 7 will not be supported by Microsoft after 2020 and will go the same way as XP.
You made the right choice upgrading

As long as the majority of software which is a bit older wont work with Windows 10, i see no reason to upgrade

Windows 10 is not that bad at all. It offers fast boot time, less resource usage and looks a lot better. I personally like it more than win7.

I am hoping a new op for pc know as microsoft giving up on op system all together.

All microsoft exams have been stoped
Becouse microsoft them self are endeing the error of operating systems fact.

Can not wait for a competitor steps in.

well win10, is good in time boost. less lags and less resources usages, but microsoft now force users to update and upgrade,

i find that windows 10 uses more resource than windows 7. the only problem i faced is windows 7 can't be installed in Skylake rig so I'm forced to install 10. There's workaround, but i don't feel like tinkering something which might break in the near future.

new systems will not get win7 support past a certain time in 2017 anyway. there's nothing to praise about 10 at all.

Microsoft exams haven't stopped at all, they just retire the ones for the older programs.
