please can anyone tell me how to change profile picture

Hover over your username in the top right corner, then select "Avatar" from the drop down.
But it might be that you cannot change it yet, at least not to a custom one, because you don't have enough post.

Not sure on the exact number, but I have 50 posts and can edit mine. So less than 50.

Yea I need to update mine as well, on desktop they are larger now.

That's a good question. If i can remember well, the exact number was included in the FAQ of the old site, which i can't seem to locate anymore, so i can't tell for sure. If you can't do it yet and taking into account what the other guy said above, the limit must be between 15 and 50 posts somewhere.

The new size requirement is 200x200px and you need 50 posts before you can change your avatar.
