Scrapebox error 503?

Hi guys,

I've some problems with scrapebox and proxies.

If I use NO proxies mode, everything is working, but with proxies ... no way!

If I try to do Harvesting search I get back many errors and no good result... If I use Google Competition Finder I get back error 503.

The proxies are new, I ve bought them today and I ve changed my old proxies ( I ve used until today and in other progress they are working very well )

Well per http definition, a 503 is server unavailable.

You didn't provide much info about whether they work in Bing/Yahoo but if I recall correctly, Google returns a 503 if the proxy is banned from their search engine.

Also, just because you have "just" bought them, doesn't mean that they are new (as in virgin IP's).
Most likely they've already been used to scrape from Google in the previous months which is why they are banned initially.

Indeed I tried using Bing and they are working correctly...

My question now is.... How can get a solution for scraping Google?

Well, the simple answer is to get some proxies that aren't banned by Google.
When you purchase proxies, the providers will often ask you what you're planning on using the proxies for. Write "Google scraping" and they will often try to match your proxies with some that haven't been used for scraping Google recently.

Also, I assume you are using dedicated proxies and NOT shared, since shared hardly ever will work on Google (for obvious reasons).

so basically the "Google passed" feature of the proxy checker means nothing? All my proxies pass this check yet I still get 503 errors.
