Hey BHW members,

I hired a freelancer to post my affiliate link onto fb groups but he said fb doesnt allow it cause the affiliate link is blocking or something.. So if i get domain name and forward it to my affiliate url, will fb let me post on the group pages?

Most likely, and use javascript to redirect to your domain

What you mean use Javascript to redirect my domain and how do I do that?

Some of our partners had a similar issue. Try changing your domain often and/or create a Facebook page/ community and redirect users there.

Yes, you will have to buy a domain, make it redirect to what you want. Most advertising companies are blocked at fb because people were spamming their affiliate links.

How to redirect a domain.

OP, a simple Javascript redirection does not work any more. Send me a PM and I'll give you my method. It's nothing fancy, just a spin, but it makes things really easy :).

Also, if you want to profit off of CPA you need to scale it up once it starts working. Do you realize that to make real money with CPA you need to have automation software, accounts, e-Mails, phone numbers, refreshable private virgin proxies, spintax, link cloaking, and domain rotation? Some of these things may be part of a bundled package and some may come with the accounts you purchase if you choose to do so, but anything less than 10 accounts isn't really worth it.

Don't let this discourage you, just make sure you know what you're doing if you're going to try and spam Facebook.

I'm interested in what you offered OP, may I pm you as well or will you pm me? thanks.

I screwed up something server-side, Javascript redirect works fine. My error in thinking it didn't.

If you're still having trouble, message me.

Let's try to use bit.ly services to post your urls to FB.

Bit.ly is being a bit hit and miss at the moment, I'm having a 50/50 success rate with it at the moment. Your own domain on a redirect seems best at the moment, but obviously there's a cost involved. I'm currently looking around for another bit.ly type site and if I have any success I'll post it here.

I think Facebook can see past all link shorteners that emulate what the largest ones do. Unless you have a redirect that hasn't already been used by major link shorteners like bit.ly and tinyurl . com (censored without spaces), you're out of luck. Facebook just follows them to their destination.

I'm not a web designer by any means but a Javascript redirect will work fine for Facebook until they turn up the heat. After they do that, I'm going to start looking at the possibility of loopback-redirects and CGI redirects (basically, the really annoying stuff to get working).
