The question remains, is it that easy for hackers to get into the database of companies like Linkedin? What do you think, folks?

The problem usually comes from employee. It only takes social engineering to get inside the most secured companies.

They're playing it down, since it's a ghost of their past.

The breach happened in 2012 - it is only now that the data seems to have surfaced on certain forums.

It is definitely not easy - but Tech will always have exploits. Always.
 
LinkedIn has nothing on iCloud.

But seriously, like mentioned above Tech will always be vulnerable if anyone want's to achieve the goals bad enough, they'll do it.
 
Saw this on the news. They were down playing it and telling users who were affected to change their passwords, but not advising that every member change their passwords. Weak.
