I use gmail on 10-15 of my 4-6 months old accounts and the rest of the 14-22 that got hit were Russian mails. Some of them got hit wit the email and then right after they got hit wit sms. I use followlikers too. It's the worst when you go to check status and all of them have the sms. My heart dropped.

You guys are all grasping at lone signals. Twitter uses many different signals to analyze your account and determine whether or not it's a "bad" bot. Remember, just because it's a bot doesn't mean it will be banned. not all bots are bad

I think you are splitting hairs. If Russian emails are "getting suspended like there's no tomorrow", which certainly seems to be true, then it's pretty hard to make the argument that it has nothing to do with Russian emails. Clearly it does, or perhaps I should say it has to do with Twitter's view of them, the result is the same. If you have PVAs based on Russian emails, you are a target right now. But as I also said upthread, I think it's also based on whatever looks suspicious. Apparently Gmails are also getting hit, and probably for the same reason those Russian emails are as well. Something about accounts created with these types of free accounts inclines Twitter to suspend them disproportionally right now.

Also, actually all of my Ruskie emails are still active. I think they may have been pretty new since I had just bought the pvas a few days before, so account age may well play a role. I also noticed something else peculiar, evidently the guys who built them got a little sloppy, one of my accounts had the wrong login information, it actually logged me in to someone elses account. I wonder if that means anything.

Well, you're right and no.

Russian emails are used by Russian people too for legit purposes, not just by marketers, who use the accs for botting, the same is true for all free email providers. Twitter can't just ban/lock the accounts of millions of legit users. Nobody is a target with Russian emails or with any other free email provider until the email accs are alive and everything else is fine with the account creation, which is not the case with the PVAs, which come with these Russian emails.
Your accs got locked not because the Russian emails themselves, but because other factors like bad ips, phone numbers. Russian emails only became suspicious, because that's what most cheap PVA providers use, if it were anything else, then that particular ESP would have became suspicious. The issue is not that simple that you could blame it on a single ESP, Russian ESPs or free ESPs.

Did you login using the email or phone number? I'm asking, because if i'm not mistaken, up to 10 accs can be verified with one phone number (even if there are no accs with the same phone number in your batch, you can be sure about that the cheap providers will re-use the numbers), so with one phone number you can log into up to 10 accs with different passwords.
But just as easily it can be a mix up too.

It's not with the Russian Email I think, I use Gmail, Hotmail, Mail, Yahoo too tested 5 batch but still get these verification.
I use like 2 per dedicate IP and follow in a really discipline rate, do you think it's FL problem?

It's like it happen just after I update to 9.2.2
No problem before that and some account get affected some not.
Overall over 70%...

I bought some aged twitter accounts (1.5-2 years) and when i try to follow users they don't get notification that my account followed them.
Is it some kinda new defense system from twitter? And is it permanent, or temporary ghost ban for my accounts?

I check 4-5 twitter sellers and form their accounts doesn`t come notifications. So I think it is new twitter filter. It`s strange. Because I have my personal non-used account and form it I get notification.

About russian e-mails I have oldest 10 accounts with russian e-mails it woks fine. But they are 1 year old. Another accounts with 6-8 month aged has sms verification every 700 following or every day I don`t know it depends of twitters mood.

My 300 accounts were all created with Gmail and instantproxies(5 acccounts per proxy).
They were all run by FolloLiker.
Until now 280+ accounts asked for SMS verification.

I dont know if anything is related but here is my story;

- I bought a new U.S. proxy
- I bought FL
- I created two TW accounts using my new proxy and two U.S. phone numbers
- I didn't delete the phone numbers after creating these accounts, i.e., they still stay and I have always access to these numbers
- All settings related to location in TW accounts conform with the proxy location
- I started following 100-150, tweeting 6-12, retweeting 6-12, liking 3-6 in a day by setting up my proxy in FL
- No unfollow yet

It has been three days now and both of my two accounts are healthy. I don't know if i am just lucky or running in a safe region.

With call forwarding from Skype or Google Voice it'd be easy to activate accounts from very few to one devices

Don't forget to keep record of what numbers used so you don't get locked out of the accounts.

Im not using PVA accounts buts just to say Iv been hit hard over the last week, at least 2-3K accounts Suspended or locked per day. Defo a massive clean up from twitter, but it happens every month...this is just a larger hit than usual for me.

What were your settings? Any double tweets or links?
What were your actions a couple of days prior to the Twitter sweep?
These are all questions that need to be answered because it has to be the behavior of the accounts that set them off.

Hey webwiz, I'm not sure about that because I don't have any of my 50 accounts running in retweets. I mean they are on a global project tweeting from a pool of 600-800 tweets. But I don't retweet or like any tweets on my accounts. They are only running tweeting, following, unfollowing and dming.

I think it could be overkill on retweets and likes...thats when I get re verification, never for mass following

I noticed that it ask verification every day after 00-00. So if you verificated 14/05/2016 at 23-30 when 15/05/2016 begin it ask you for verification again You will not see SMS or PAUSE just check logs

Guess I`m lucky my sim cards are free in my country.

But yeah, Twitter is going crazy rn. Anything that is abnormal requires verification, even if you follow 30 people in 5 hours they still think something`s not right, ESPECIALLY with fresh accs. Also for those of you who use 5-6 accs on one proxy, just stop, please stop. 2 is enough, 3 is already pushing the limit.

NEVER use public proxies. NEVER, no matter what. The accs won`t last more than a couple of days, if you`re lucky. Don`t follow more than 100 people per day, try to pause following between the days, for example follow 75 people today and stop for 2 or 3 days then go for 50 the fourth day and after another day of pause follow 100.

That is just how Twitter works, it`s EXTREMELY harsh.
