How accurate is long tail pro KC?

Hi I've just brought long tail pro and playing with it. It's amazing how some of the features really save my time. But I'm wondering how accurate is the KC?

Long tail pro is really a good tool. Before i finalize my keywords, i use Trafic Travis free version and kwfinder to cross check the competition.

For me I will look at the juice link to that page when I see some low KC. Not 100% accuracy, u might want to manually check the each of the top 10 pages and see if any of them hid any PBNs.
For sure it is a time saver

Not accurate at all imho, to often LTP sees weak keywords as strong and strong keywords as weak

Last year I asked 2 keyword suppliers for keywords based on a specific product, 1 used LTP and the others used 2 other tools ( can't recall what they were ) and I asked for reports on competiveness etc too.

The results were so varied, LTP had 1 keyword as 25 ( easy to rank ) the other seller said that same keyword was difficult but not impossible.

I think LTP is good but needs to be combined with at least 1 other tool to check metrics etc.

About as accurate as a random number generator. Complete junk thanks to the fact they rely on the world's worst SEO tool known as Moz. Even my grandma is faster than Moz's pathetic excuse of a crawler. Moz is so bad it should be considered a scam and LTP will never reach its potential until it ditches Moz and partners with a real SEO tool like Majestic.

You could have 1000000 links and Moz will find 2 after 20 years if you're lucky. Tells you competitors have 2 links when they have 20 from authority sites. I've wasted a lot of money in the past thanks to trusting Moz metrics trying to target "easy" looking terms with supposedly 0 links to the majority of sites which turn out to be borderline impossible when you check the top 10 in Maj.

Basically (as others have said) it relies heavily on PA, which can be easily manipulated by link building rather than any real "authority". I agree with including "keyword in title" as this is a reasonable indication of whether the site is optimised for that keyword. Not sure about length of domain name though.

I use LTP and its not a bad tool for finding low comp keywords....you just have to watch for "false positives" on high KC keywords, and do you own research/checking.

LTP is good to use.
You can use UNF and Market Samurai.
To check your KW competition you can try KW finder.
