Twitter Phone Re-verification Wave

I had over 60% of my accounts get hit with sms and email verification. Most of my older accounts that were 2-5 months old got hit with sms.
to give a little background info,
I had 3 accounts on 1 proxy which is safe imo
i had 30 accounts running for about 1-4 months
and i just added 20 new accounts and let it run on tweeting only for about 2 weeks before i started following settings
My settings are moderate nothing over the top 150-280 follow limit
delay 60-120
(i bought all these accounts pva, none of them i made myself btw)
Its weird though, my oldest ones got hit with sms and some of my newest ones are fine.....doesnt make any sense, its like twitter was one of those ,attack on titans, titans just going around aimlessly banning any accounts in its path, leaving the poor owners to scrounge out whats left and to see if they can recover some of the accounts -.- sigh, hopefully we will find a savior soon who will stop them and make us all safe again plz.

thank you

are you just trying to get ur post numbers up? please contribute if you are going to post, we here in this post have spent time and money trying to build. its serious.
damn thats nice

I thinks its not related to followers but every day at 2:30pm (IST) it asks for verification.

Hi Guys,
Let me bust some miths about twitter. As many of you recently 50-70% of my accounts got phone verification (7-8 of may). So....
1. Accounts Creation
1.1 E-mails. All the accounts were created manually by me using yahoo e-mails, so I don't think twitter was searching for you guys who used .ru e-mails.

1.2 Proxies. All my accounts were created on unique private proxy which after that was used to log into FL with that ip, so I don't think proxy creation is an issue since I used 1 ip/account creation.

1.3 Device. I used 4 devices to create my accounts.

1.4 Footprint. All my accounts had different content (a few images as posts(each account different images), unique description, profile picture and header) all my accounts were not related howsoever.

2. Posting, spamming, following, settings.
2.1 Settings. I runned 125 accounts for 7-8 months and all what I did was to grow them(follow/unfollow) and I didn't had same settings to all my accounts. For my surprise was that some accounts that got phone verifications didn't even follow/unfollow those days. So I don't thinks it's about the settings.

2.2 Posting. I didn't post only some different images in my accounts, so they couldn't link them together, but somehow they did.

2.3 As for the following limits and delays, as I said, 10-20 of my accounts didn't even followed/unfollowed those days, and for the proxies, many of my accounts runned for 7 months on a single private proxy without any problem on.

I hope that my experice can help you figure out how to bypass this situation.
You stop right there mythbuster lol

You can scratch your latter points and go back to the very beginning, because that's where the issue lies, which is the same issue, when you buy your accs, the only difference, that you're in control or you may think that you're in full control, but that's only if you cover all bases.

Let's assume your proxy ips are fine (it's a big if though), besides the ips there are a plethora of things sites can use to track you: browser WebRTC leakage, canvas fingerprinting, OS type, language, screen resolution, device ids, app cache, super cookies, detecting a proxy being a proxy etc. It's not enough to grab your favorite browser, private proxies and clear cookies between two account creations.

Also private proxies can be tainted too, Twitter can blacklist whole c-blocks, without an ip has ever been used before on Twitter - so practically a virgin ip - it still can be blacklisted.

I don't use proxies to create the accs, but for instance on ig, the same proxy which is good for account managing, isn't good for account creation and this is the case since years now. I wouldn't be too surprised, if Twitter would be going into this direction too.

And i can't put enough emphasis on dead emails. If your account is email verified and that email account dies, you'll get a re-verification request, because Twitter actively checks the email accounts even after (the first) verification. The type of the email account does not matter, can it be yahoo, hotmail, mailr.ru etc. The Russian email providers were only blamed, because that's what most PVA providers use and those emails die pretty fast. Besides that bad ips can be used or not even that, one mistake in the account creation process is enough, what you will never know, if you buy your accs. You only see that it's a .ru email and you automatically assume, that it must be the email.

If you want to email verify our accs and operate in mass, you should buy quality email accs, which can be accessed through POP3, then grab a bot and log into the accounts via POP3 in every few months, so your email accs will stay alive. Logging in like that means that you don't have to care about switching ip addresses, you can log into thousands of accs with the same ip without any problem, the same is not true, if you log intot the web interface, so don't do that. If you keep your email accs alive, you make a step towards keeping your Twitter accs alive.

Email verification is not a must, you can create accs from Twitter's mobile site (mobile.twitter.com) or the Twitter app using a phone number and no email, but it's always better to have both verification, because when shit hits the fan, often you are provided with the option to select between email reverify or SMS reverify and if you don't have access to the phone number, but you have access to the email, the acc still can be saved.

The thing is that there's no ultimately good solution.
If you create your own accs, you need to be sure that you're on top of your game and cover all bases, also it's best if you use your real, home ips and not proxies. 3G/4G, DSL connections most of the time come with dynamic ips, use those. 1 account per ip, no more accs on the same ip, not on the next day, not on the next week, not in the next month, never.
If you buy your accs, it's always a gamble, you can only hope for the best.

i have some phone number for verification, so you can take from my sms service

As I said, I didn't purchased my twitter accounts. Were made on 3 different devices, 3 browsers and twitter didn't tracked me by browser, cookies, proxies, ips blablabla, because if he did that he should suspend all my accounts made on that computer which he didn't, he left me some from every computer/browser/ip/cookie blabla I made.

Yes, you are right that twitter can track us in many ways, I was just trying to eliminate a few things that people in this thread believe they were tracked for, hopping that someone can find a "why" or maybe there are more than one factor that twitter tracked us by, not only acc creation, ips, etc.

I'm not trying to find 100 ways on how twitter can track our accounts like you just did, but to figure out how he did it, avoid it and to find a way on how he can not to, anyway thank you for your input.

I've reverified most of all my 240 accounts multiple times with my own sim cards. But they still getting hit with sms reverification and what's worse it happens random so i can't find the pattern in it.

I'm gonna share my recent experience to help you come to your own conclusions.
Yesterday I started creating Twitter accounts. Each account is on a different dedicated proxy (I've never had problems that I could blame on the proxies I had).
All of the accounts instantly ask for Phone Verification even before you pick your username. I verified them with SMSPVA, it worked.
I profiled the accounts (picked avatar, cover photo and made a tweet or two on some). After that I just let them sit as I wanted to create them all before setting them up on Mass Planner.
Later that day I tried logging in on the accounts, 50% of them are asking me to reverify. I can't even reverify with the same number, as SMSPVA tells me the number no longer exists.

My conclusion? Twitter has realized that everyone is using russian numbers and is blocking those accounts until you reverify. Legit users have no trouble reverifying, but we do.
I can't blame the proxies, since they work for every other network. I can't really blame the act of account creation, since I did it manually. There isn't much left...

I don't think this is russian numbers fault. I use my own numbers. My 90%+ accounts asking confirmation. But strange thing is, that i have to confirm old number, i can't choose new one to confirm. After i confirm nuber, do some follow/unfollow, and account again asking confirmation.

which proxy provider you guys use ? i use instantproxies and %90 of my 400 accounts is gone

I use instantproxies as well, but I did not lose that many. I think it's something to do with the Russian emails. I lost about 80% of my accounts that were based on Russian email, the rest were not touched. I've seen so many other people reporting the same thing with Russian Emails in this thread that I for one am convinced that is the cause of this.

This is not a problem with russian mails....
I have gmails and i have the same problem.

Could be 3 things.
1. The emails used.
2. Country of PVA. Don't use USA if your account says UK.
3. Your settings and links. Are you using same links over all these accounts? Easier to ask for PVA based on that pattern.

Yea, i got that, that you want to pinpoint the reason, i guess we all want that.

One thing is sure, when there's a big purge like this and plenty of people are affected with very different settings, using different bots or doing everything manually, it's never the account usage is to blame, it's not the settings, it's not the bots, it's not how the profiles are set up, but it can be anything which is linked to account creation, that's where the problem lies or how would you explain that all my accs are running with full steam using a bot and i haven't lost a single account?! It's not the settings or anything out of your latter points. If you want to pinpoint the reason and if you take my advice, you should look for that in your account creation mechanism, because reading your points, just like you, i can't see anything else, which can be the reason.

I got that you created your own accs and no offense, but i'm rather skeptical about you being able to cover everything regarding to the account creation process, because if you did that, you wouldn't have lost a single account with this wave. Those things i mentioned (which you labelled with blabla lol), i didn't just listed those for the sake of them, those all can be something which can be used for tracking and those are only the things, which we know about as of today, maybe i even left out one or two things.

Most people tend to believe, that if they use private proxies, they're covered. That's not the case unfortunately, especially when it comes to account creation. While most private proxies are good for account management, a lot less is good for account creation. I don't know why is that exactly, that social media sites let most private proxies be used for account management and don't let the very same proxies be used for account creation, they could restrict their usage for account management too just as easily. It's a rather fascinating thing, but it's also a fact.

If you buy your proxies, you can never be sure, if those are really good or not. Some proxy providers even include it on their site, that there's no guarantee, that you can use their proxies for social media account creation - even those proxies which are specifically for social media - because they know very well, that account creation is a delicate process, social media sites blacklist whole c-blocks and they don't want to get disputes. If the blacklisting happens, you either cannot create the accs at all or your can create them, but they're getting flagged right away (what Twitter won't tell you of course). These things are above us, which we cannot control, but cannot be ignored. That's why i recommended, if you create you own accs, use real ips and you already eliminated one thing. If you can help it, private proxies should be used for account management only.

What about the emails though? Have you email verified the accs? If yes, are those email accs still alive? Because if some of those are dead, that can be an explanation right there for the selective locks besides proxies and phone numbers.

If you choose to ignore these and want to find the reason in settings or any of your latter points at all costs, well, more power to you, Sir.

Losing accs are always part of the game. We don't play by their rules, it's bound to happen.
I have lost a vast amount of accs myself, not now, but before, maybe thrice the amount i use now. I wasn't effected this time, not because i would know everything, i think i just got lucky, but maybe tomorrow half of my accs will be gone. Who knows?!

This is not a problem with russian mails....
I have gmails and i have the same problem.

Yes it is, but it may be a problem with gmails as well. I suspect it's whatever looks suspicious. Russian emails are notorious for their use by spammers. But so are gmails or any free email. I've had no problem with PVAs based on emails registered to my own domains. But emails based on PVAs I've bought recently have almost all been suspended. And that seems to be the pattern here. In fact, all the PVAs I bought from one specific vendor who uses russian emails were suspended. I had not even used most of them yet, and I think that is key. There was no use or abuse pattern at all. I for one am not buying any more PVAs, just going to make my own from now on.

I thought we solved the email question already. :)

It's not email provider-dependent, it's just the fact the Russian emails getting suspended like there's no tomorrow, Twitter notices that and asks for re-verification. Russian emails became suspicious only, because that's what most PVA providers use. Have you actually checked that those Russian email accs of yours are still alive? You don't have problem with your own domains, because those email addresses live until you posses the domain or even after you sold it, so until the domain is renewed either by you or someone else.

I think you are splitting hairs. If Russian emails are "getting suspended like there's no tomorrow", which certainly seems to be true, then it's pretty hard to make the argument that it has nothing to do with Russian emails. Clearly it does, or perhaps I should say it has to do with Twitter's view of them, the result is the same. If you have PVAs based on Russian emails, you are a target right now. But as I also said upthread, I think it's also based on whatever looks suspicious. Apparently Gmails are also getting hit, and probably for the same reason those Russian emails are as well. Something about accounts created with these types of free accounts inclines Twitter to suspend them disproportionally right now.

Also, actually all of my Ruskie emails are still active. I think they may have been pretty new since I had just bought the pvas a few days before, so account age may well play a role. I also noticed something else peculiar, evidently the guys who built them got a little sloppy, one of my accounts had the wrong login information, it actually logged me in to someone elses account. I wonder if that means anything.
