301 redirect means you will get backlinks from another domain. That includes anchor texts. How will this effect my site?

Yes, that would include anchor texts too but they are filtered through a redirect and you get authority of the domain. Those domain links or anchors don't hit you directly, yet the domain gives you authority from its link juice. This is the advantage that we consider when making redirects. Hope that helps :)
