Why you should buy more Bitcoin

And I always wonder because so few seo merchant here are not accepting bitcoin such a shame.

I'd rather buy real gold instead of this air thing, call me old... but the gold can stay in my house for decades and have value.Like the gold from parents, and their parents, decades . What if in 10 years people find new computer network or smth...

yes it's "air"
like internet is air compare to book or newpaper

call you old, yes sir. ;)

This is so damn smart.
The day after my post it dropped from $8.6 to $7.5, five days later it was up to $9.3!

It's at $8 again now, it was back in the $7 region for a day but then it went back up, probably because of this news http://www.coindesk.com/ethcore-750000-ethereum-enterprise/

Another upside/downside to cryptocurrency trading is that it's open 24/7. Here's a Sunday report going into ETH kicking the downwards trend: http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/04/24/ethereum-price-weekly-analysis-real-bounce/ The article writer checks out as a real person and has a legit background in this

Money could be made on this playing the dips, but you have to watch out for the commissions the exchanges offer. After a brief look Kraken seems like a good choice as it clearly specifies the asking price of the sellers, I assume you simply fill the order to receive your coins. https://www.kraken.com/charts

I cannot understand the rationale of wasting electricity/ computing power just for the sake of handling blockchain transactions. All these ecurrencies don't seems to add value to society just like spammer not adding value to IM.

I think it's borne out of paranoia of a cashless society, being an attempt to bring uncontrollable cash into the digital age. You could argue that creating hundreds of millions of dollars out of thousands of dollars of electricity has helped stimulate the world economy, however value to society is a moot point when concerning capitalism, which is by design full of frivolous consumerism and deliberately overinflated bureaucracy for the sake of perpetuating employment.

Steam are now accepting officially Bitcoin , I guess that should be an extra motivation for people to buy more Bitcoin and hold (since more and more companies are accepting it now) . I can't post links but you can YouTube for "The First EVER Bitcoin Transaction Through Steam! 3/31/2016"

Just my few cents. BTC and ETH are different in terms of purposes for which they can be used. BTC's core use is storing and moving of value securely and at low fees, while ETH serves a wider range of tasks - decentralized applications, escrow etc. So my opinion is that both of the technologies have the right to live.

I guess you got a point but Ethereum doesn't seem like something simple to use and for all kind of people , I mean they don't even have GUI wallet (I'm not sure if they created one or not yet)

Whelp, I'm slowly saving some BTC. Feels good when price goes up.

i wonder how many people are upside down in bitcoins from when it was 900 a bitcoin and they did not sell

Bitcoin is not a real money like PAYPAL is it seems. It can disappears at all moment so you risk all your money. For the moment we need use it for pay one provider but we are not safe with that. And his value change all time it is very very risky

Bitcoin could be great as an investment, but right now I fail to see it being advantageous over other investment routes.

Bitcoin could be part of your investment portfolio. But probably not all.

As for how it's performed, over the past year, it has doubled in price and has beaten the DOW and nasdaq. So if you can invest even 5% of whatever you invest in, I think it is worth it.

We must have to buy Bitcoins if we can invest them at good place.
I'd like to use your method for investing and earning bitcoins.

Bitcoin itself is considered as a long term investment so you don't really need to invest it anywhere . You Buy , you hold , you sell , you profit .

I also buy. Its for the long term. I don't even check the price anymore.

For those who didn't start buying yet , I want to say that Bitcoin reached 9 billion dollar market cap and the price is increasing . If you really don't want to be late for the train (the halving block reward) then it's probably the best time to buy.

When I first created this topic , Bitcoin was like 500$ If I remember right.
It's now 730$ and It's increasing ... the marketcap reached 11 billion dollar . If you don't want to be late for the train it's definitely not late "yet" , you can buy and hold for the halving block reward (which happens in 24 days) ! Good luck everyone !
