Remember what I said. I'm pounding 4-5 accounts at a time. Most of my accounts are sitting there, being aged. So it's not like I'm having to juggle 30 debit cards every day.

I've developed an automated bot which scrapes the information and pictures for an item from Amazon to Ebay. Right now I have to manually enter the category ID when I'm creating the listing on eBay. How would you automate this part so that your bot selects the category ID and completes the listing on eBay without the user's input?

Ok well what service providers are you using? who do you like the best and gives you the most bang for your buck?
I'll start by saying At&t has a small pool if your using 4G i get a ton of repeats on 4G with AT&T i had to restart my device
3-8 times before getting a new ip.
The 3G with At&t was far the opposite it seemed to be rare to get a repeat until i upgraded not knowing if i ever go back to At&t i will be sure to go back to 3G if its even possible now.
Cricket seemed very slow in my area but was cheap at $30 a month when i used it a long time ago problem was getting the ip to change i had to spend like half and hour trying to get the ip to flip. it was to much trouble getting a new ip to show with the internet speed being so slow.
Verizon is awesome for the price paid of $50 a month i get a new ip every 3-4 times i reboot however i do see a repeated ip every once and a while.
What providers do you like the best TOML3030? and what are you paying a month for them?
I think this is a function of where you are. I am in southern california and I literally have not had any duplicates logging into 5 separate accounts every day for 2 months. When I try to log while traveling, I noticed that in some places you get like 2 IPs. If you are THAT worried about IP duplication you could go dialup, since they can not track your IPs from a dialup connection.

My problem is not duplicated Ip's the Verizon is awesome for the price im paying and im patient to reboot the device to get a new Ip when switching accounts and i always keep track of what Ip's i have used on what accounts my problem is only using Verizon to run at the moment 17 active accounts.
I live in California also but i do not reside in southern California so what providers are you using and like the best TOML3030?
What are you paying every month for what provider? also are they unlimited data or are you only allowed so much usage month to month?

Verizon is awesome
I'm using the verizon XL plan; 4 phones 18 gigs $230/mo. I find it more than enough to run all my accounts. I have used ATT and cricket in the past

TOML3030 thanks for your reply good to know that your using Verizon as well thats all im using at the moment and my plan is $50 for 5GB which works great for me but not when im growing and making more accounts every month to handle multiple accounts from just one source from 1 internet provider.
you said in message #321 that your using more than one internet provider what other internet providers are you using? what are they costing you every month and what kind of usage are you allowed month to month?

i do not fiddle with ips because i have not ever had any ip problems from ebay i do want to ask is there any difference between smartphone to computer tethering or using mobile hotspots? or is it the exact same thing?
AFAIK, using mobile hotspots for IPs work just like phone tethering.
If you've having to create a bunch of more accounts every month, either you're doing something shady or you're doing something wrong.
I've notice when I create a new listing, the search engine bots doesn't view every product listed. I've created listing for ten different products in one category, from the previous listing I know that you get four view right away from eBay bots to scan the listing and that rank it. I've received four views on only one product, on nine others two of them received three, others are one, there are two of them that got zero bots view. That's made my products rank very low, when I search it by my self. I did optimize my title by using AdWords, every product have like 8-10 pictures, short but detailed description, free shipping but still I'm low on rank. I've noticed that the top ranked products have like a 2-3 pictures only, not detailed description, there are not using "Make offer" option, not a donation option, things that according to Cassini should rank you better. Do you have any suggestions on what should I do next?
It may take up to 48 hours for a listing to propagate to all of eBay's servers. I wouldn't worry about it.
Bots don't give you placement, it's probably more like placement gives you bots.
Don't believe what eBay says about Cassini. Sellthrough and account strength is much more important than optimizing your listings.
Hey Toml3030- Amazing thread! I read your every response. As an eBay noob, I learned a ton here. Thank you so, so much! I am currently doing the old Amazon-eBay DS and doing fairly well ($50-100 a day after fees) for someone a few weeks in, but it's a drain dealing with being a middle man for shipping, having Amazon accts banned, stealth CCs, gift cards, etc, etc. I'd like to go more direct in my products along the lines of what you are doing.
From what I understand, you probably wouldn't bother with BHW-type solutions if eBay, PayPal and Amazon if they were reasonable and more professional, especially eBay. What you have set up are fail-safes more than anything else. Your warnings are duly noted and heeded!

- Whats the best way to go about finding companies to Dropship for? Have you had great successes and failures? As dropshipping on eBay places your defect rate in the hands of other people, I'd like to know what the best strategies are for mitigating these issues as much as possible.
- How many hours a week do you usually work? 'Success starts at 40 hours' is the old adage and I have no issues with that but it's all about maximizing your time, IMO.
- What other Forums do you usually browse and get ideas from?
- What research tools do you use, like TeraPeak? I realize that you have your niche picked out but you must have some opinion as you've mentioned them in this thread.

To be honest 90% of the people who get banned by eBay pretty much deserves it. Just observe how many people here complain about being banned for something that could have totally been avoided or they knew going in that they're violating eBay policy. As I keep saying, it's not that hard to stay on eBay if you follow its rules and know what you can get away with. eBay is not malicious, just incompetent a lot of times, but if they were more competent, they would catch and ban a LOT more stealth accounts so it kind of balances out.
One of the first things I would look for in finding a drop shipper is to ask how long have they been in business and can they give references for ebay accounts, amazon accounts, or websites that they've been drop shipping for.
When I got started I was working 100 hour weeks because I started off with pretty much nothing and was doing everything. Once it got to the point where I had enough $$$ to hire people to do grunt work for me like answering customer service calls, photoshop product pictures and things like that I was able to dial it down to around 60. Pretty much whenever you see me here, I'm working.
I consider forums "for entertainment purposes only". The anonymity of the internet gives way too much bullshit to useful info ratio. Remember, I'm not just an internet guy. I do my own manufacturing and I used to talk to a couple of hundred different store owners who carry my merchandise. Basically I learned the most by being around people who do this better and bigger than me and picking their brains. Like this one dude I'm leeching info off right now...If he was on BHW and I didn't know him personally I'd think he's an idiot but he showed me one of his accounts (he has 5 eBay accounts) that has, I kid you not, 400,000 item/ $66 million limit. Now I still think he's an idiot, but I'm shutting the F up and paying attention when this guy brags about what he does to increase sales.
On line research is part of it, but you learn a lot as I said, just watching how your competitors that you respect and people who do it better than you operate. Info like what do they list, what time of day do their auctions close, what pricing strategy do they use, how they write their titles, etc. are all useful info in the long run.
Remember, don't believe anything you read. I could be a 400lb virgin who never sold anything on eBay writing this from mom's basement, who lies really really well.
