I bought a copy of James Brausch's Artemis Pro article submission software last year (yes, I paid real $$$ to the man himself for it when he had a 24-hr special) and have recently installed it.

It keeps calling for a data file that needs updating, but it's no longer available because he's sold the domain and changed the product to an online subscription model.

The data file is an internal publishers list of Munius directories, i.e. all those people who've bought Munius article directory software from James Brausch and installed it on their websites.

HELP! Does anyone know how I get hold of that data file???

Nobody knows anything about Artemis Pro? Surely someone must have used it!

Just another way he messed with past customers, have you contacted the new owner

Maybe he will be more forgiving

The new owner of Atemis Pro is giving it away for free with NO support and NO internal list of publishers. In fact, the owners page even says to "disregard the 'Update Available' message you get when you open the software".

And the new owner of BusinessHQR has no interest in supplying the list because they now have a subscription model and want you to pay a $150/week!!!

It sure would be good to get a copy of that list.

What that means is the "update" is the internal list of publishers. So this dude is giving away the software but you have to dig up a list of article publishers yourslef, and thats where the real value is.

saw this...maybe it helps... this is a convo between a couple guys abt the software

Heres the emails for the IM related ezines:

http://rapidshare.com/files/56525096/ArtemisProExternalList.txt.html DEAD LINK

So, you use Artemis Pro in cojunction with these ezines, and get published lots of places, all with unique articles.

James Brausch used to recommend a "directory of ezines" or something, I think it was called, that had a HUGE directory of about 75k email adresses of ezines on every imaginable topic.

Someone should organize a GB for that directory.

Here he mentions it:
http://www.jamesbrausch.com/?p=40

I seem to be wrong with the 75k number though. I think this is it:
http://www.directoryofezines.com/

.......

I can't see how it could possible work with an internal list at all.

It certainly seems to be working when using an external list though:

I think the internal list was people who had Brausch's article directory software installed on their sites. The internal list would automatically submit to those directories. So it works just liek the external list but to a large list of extra publishers you wouldn't normally get access to.

That's a damn fine idea!

Directory of Ezines looks interesting. I can't tell how many many are on their database though. How do you know the 75k number is wrong? Do they list a different number? I couldn't find it.

No I dont...cant verify it. I'll look to see if I have that info tho'...
